Hi Keith, Do you have any plugins that might be rewriting URLs installed on your browser? We recently had a case like this that was caused by the EFF's HTTPS Everywhere, which rewrites URLs during the login process, breaking some cross-domain issues

Hi Rachel, Thanks for pointing this out. The web form you're using is currently in beta (as opposed to the web form available via the Survey123 website). It currently doesn't read the setting from the survey settings. I've added an issue to resolve this.

Hi Dirk, The map in Survey123 can only use tiled layers in Web Mercator projection. If you can cache the image service, that could then be used by customizing the map types of the survey (much like the setting for a TPK).

Hi Glen, For services hosted in ArcGIS Online, this will pull in the ArcGIS Online username. The way specified above is within the Survey123 app only; however, with Editor Tracking, you have a (non-visible by default) field that records the username that both Survey123 and Collector use. See Manage hosted feature layers—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS for more information.

Hi Igor, I think the issue is with some of your integer questions. There appear to be calculations that involve very large numbers- the integer field can only store values from -2,147,483,648 to 2,147,483,647. Setting those question types to text should address the issue. ArcGIS field data types—ArcGIS Help | ArcGIS Desktop

Hi Alek, The pulldata('@geopoint') syntax of the function does not work on the web form. That version of the function isn't in the official XLSForm or XForm spec- it's a custom function we implemented in the mobile application as there is literally no way to reliably extract this information given the spec. The web form is based on a project that implements the specification, so bringing the function into the web form requires additional customization on our part. We haven't prioritized this yet as we think it will be a bit difficult to implement.

Hi Kevin, This is a known issue with IWA-fronted SAML logins. With 2.0, we introduced preliminary support for a configuration that can work around the limitation. Go to 'Settings' and select the 'Portals' tab. Click and hold on 'Select your Active ArcGIS Portal'- this will show the advanced configuration options. Click on 'Add Portal'. Type in the organization name and select 'Use external web browser for sign in' and then add the Portal. When signing in, you will see that Survey123 actually launches over to your browser to sign in, and then goes back to Survey123 once the sign in is complete. Currently, this works best on mobile devices -t here are some issues with it on Windows (which is why I categorized this as 'preliminary' support).

Mike, Can you verify that sharing to everyone is enabled for your ArcGIS organization? You can do this by logging into http://www.arcgis.com. In the 'My Content' page, you will see a folder named 'Survey-<SURVEY NAME>'. Clicking on that folder will show the survey form and the feature service. Click on the checkboxes and attempt to share form there. If the word 'Everyone' is disabled, you're not set up to share with everyone- this can be changed by your organization administrators.

Hi Mike, "Within org" is automatically selected when "Everyone" is selected because Everyone includes everyone within the organization. When "Everyone" is selected, sign-in is not required.

Okay, found the issue - the case of the file extension is off. In your Survey, you typed in the filename of the images with lower case "jpg". The filenames actually have uppercase "JPG". Update your form (or alter the file names) and republish.

Hi Leonhard, The 500 error is presented at your Portal, correct? If so, I might suggest you want to get that addressed- it sounds like something is not quite right with your Portal installation. Can you provide an message text on either errors? On the publishing with an existing service, is the service coming from a hosted service in the data store or as a regular ArcGIS Server Service. If the latter, is it on a service that is standalone or federated? Currently, Survey123 does not support federated services. More details can be seen at Use Survey123 with existing feature services—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS

Hi, By far the easiest way to download the data is by either going to the Data tab for your survey at http://survey123.arcgis.com or the Item Details page for the Feature Layer of the Survey in ArcGIS Online. Both locations have an 'Export' button to allow you to download the survey information wither as GIS data or CSV. The script that this blog post was about concerns a more advanced situation where the survey data is being stored in one location and needs to be imported regularly into another database system.

Hi Anthony, What you show is what happens when opening Survey123 directly in the situation where you are not logged in you have no surveys. To share a survey publicly, please use the sharing URL that you can access via the Survey123 website - go to the survey's Collaborate page: Users can then open the URL, which will ask them if they want to open Survey123. The form will then load. Once a form is on the device, Survey123 will open to the list of surveys. Please try by using: https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/40f96a4e6a6449828a87b96473c5bcf7?open=native
