Hi Doug, This might best done using repeats - 2.1, which will be launching next week, will bring math across repeats. You can get an early look by going to the Esri Early Adopter program's Survey123 site.

Hi Chris, To work with an existing service, there are some additional configuration steps: 1) The service must be secured (right now your showing the security setup of the server, not the individual service - in the Server Manager that is displayed as a lock icon in the service entry) 2) The service must then be registered with your ArcGIS Online or Portal account - when registering you will be prompted to sign in to your server. Choose the option to Store Credentials. 3) You should see that the item created doesn't refer directly to your server's URL; instead, it's a proxy service that is attached to ArcGIS Online/Portal. This is the URL to use when creating a feature service (it's just easier to use the 'Add New > Feature Service' option at this point than manually copying the URL over. More instructions can be viewed at Survey123 help: connect to non-federated ArcGIS Server services

Hi Mike, The issue is that the calculate question stores a text (string) value by default. To set them to store integers, you need to add a column called bind::type and set the values for the calculate columns to integer.

Hi Kevin, I've working with your Excel file and it looks like there are a set of issues that are causing the problems you've identified. I'm still working to isolate them.

Hi Mike, I can see the behavior you describe. I'll look into it further, but I'm wondering if it might be a rounding issue, given the way the calculation of the hour is done. As for Michael's time display, I suspect he has a 24-hour clock set in his computer- we use the machine's native locale display.

The web designer does not directly expose the field name via the Survey123 webpage. You can discover it by looking at the item details of the feature service in ArcGIS Online - Open the 'Service URL' link for the layer and you'll be presented with the fields (naming will be fieldXX, where XX is a number) and the alias, which is what you see as the question.

Hi Carl, You need to use the question name in the field:<fieldname> part - I would guess that "Stream ID" is the label of the question, as it has a space.

The current web form has slightly different settings than the XLSForm standard; it stores this information in a table that accompanies the layer that stores the survey submissions.

Hi Shane, The 'cache answer' option stores the answer in your browser's cookies. There isn't an equivalent setting for a question to set through Survey123Connect; instead, the Survey123 field app has the ability to save a full form's answers as the 'favorite', or template, answer set.

Thanks Javier, This provides us some parameters we can test with. On the Collector and Survey123 storing in the same location, we can look into that. There might be some issues due to application sandboxing.

Hi Chris, I'm seeing the behavior you describe on the survey with the numbers being formatted. This is occurring in Collector and Explorer when the attribute configuration in the popup specifies the display of the thousands seperator. To fix, uncheck the 'Use Thousands Separator' for the attribute:

Hi Kevin, Can you share the XLSForm? Here's an example that works: https://survey123.arcgis.com/webclient/cf44ffb345964aa88d402bda7084a50c Valid station id values are a 5 digit number beginning with '3' (file attached). Also, I'm a little puzzled by your statement that autocomplete is not working in Chrome- again, on the form above, it works correctly for me
