Without actually seeing actual Arcmap here: Add dataset containing countries (from example data if you don't have it otherwise) and import excel sheet to arcmap as attribute table. Right click country feature and select join, select to join to excel table on country name, fill rest of the things and click ok. Then do whatever you want to symbolize the attributes as they are now part of the feature data. Does this help?

Hi, has someone succesfully added Spatialite libraries to Adroid studio project? All the guides so far explain Eclipse and state building spatialite with windows is hard or currently impossible. All the help is appreciated! This is my latest problem as I tried to import spatilite project as module: Error:Execution failed for task ':spatialiteandroidlibrary:compileReleaseNdk'. > java.io.IOException: Cannot run program "C:\Koodi\Android\Kapalo\spatialiteandroidlibrary\src\main\jniLibs\ndk-build.cmd": CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified

I made script to fetch alias names, owners and domains to big excel sheet. And you could do things like this: datasets = arcpy.ListDatasets("", "Feature") for dataset in datasets: #print('#' + dataset + ':') featureclasses = arcpy.ListFeatureClasses("","",dataset) for fc in featureclasses: tmp = fc.split('.') owner = tmp[0] if owner == "EXAMPLE": print "DO SOMETHING"; continue; # Go through non dataset features and tables: featureclasses = arcpy.ListFeatureClasses() for fc in featureclasses: ldataset.append(dataset) #etc.

Unfortunately I only have ideas. As I haven't encoutnered this myself, I googled a bit and it looks like other people are having similar problems with other than arcgis projects related to com.test a/libc . Common nominator could be bug or security change/issue in android network/web interfaces. Are you sure you are giving your application all the necessary security switches? They changed quite a lot of things under the hood on Lollipop so it could be implementation error on ArcGis side too. Sorry for not being able to help.

I didn't experience any crashes while trying the samples out or when getting our own tilemaplayer with some projection requests. But I have just worked with WGS84 besides that one tileserver and trying to get geodatabase (not in WGS84) to show up. What is the full stacktrace on Android studio ?

You can change the MapView spatialreference by loading online WMS service with specific spatial reference: mMapView.addLayer(new com.esri.android.map.ogc.WMSLayer( "http://someserver?", SpatialReference.create(1234) )); ArcGISLocalTiledLayer doesn't have such functionality so your only option is to load it first and hope for the best. By default loading wmslayer puts it to WGS84 spatialreference so this might be bug or fault in the API if it doesn't work for TPK. (Have to try this myself later)

I just started working on Android runtime and am fighting over same thing except that I am still using public base maps with local runtime geodatabase. As far as I understand it, changing the Mapview spatialreference is impossible after it has been set. And it is set as soon as you add first layer. And in fact the first layer comes from the Mapview layout description if you set it: mapoptions.MapType="Topo" So if you have that in your layout, spatialreference will be what ever that layer has. And probably is WGS84. And in case you are using local geodatabase for featuredrawing, it will be impossible to make them show if they are not in the same system. On the fly reprojection would be nice.

It sounds right and you can batch build indexes with rebuild indexes geoprocessing tool. Or you could script rebuild with python - which is advisable if the data updates regularly. Search for "Rebuild indexes" and "Analyze table" tools. Good luck!

Isn't it possible to get ArcSDE 9.2 application server binaries from your distributor? Or alternatively you could obtain 9.3. and do upgrade to 9.3 or 9.3.1. I mean if you are licensed to 10.2 you should be licensed to get older version too - atleast this is what I understand from our environment. However if you are not licensed to run ANY SDE (ArcGis for server enterprise basic or higher) you are not licensed to run 9.2. either - regardless of direct connection use or no. In our system upgrade went: upgrade oracle (export from old/import to new), start and verify arcsde app 9.2. install 9.3. ArcSDE binaries, run upgrade, verify. Repeat until satisfactory. Notice that the appserver doesn't have to be on the same machine - you can run it from any platform but you need to use oracle client.

In file geodatabase FDO_OBJECTID refers to primary key index (objectid field). You can see if you have spatial index on feature class on "Spatial index" group box on the lower half of the index tab on table properties. It will read something like "This feature class has spatial index names S30_idx" and some details. Does this help?
