Hello --  We were wondering about editing existing surveys with the web form when the survey is published with a federated (not hosted) service in our Enterprise/Portal 10.8.1 --- specifically we need to be able to add and remove attachments from an existing record.  But - it seems like it doesn't work 🙂  we can add, but not remove. If we publish a hosted service with attachments - then we do have an option to remove existing attachments.  I was wondering if maybe there was an extra configuration step to get this going -- ? thanks for any experiences or info you can offer, jess         ... Recently, I got stuck trying to update fields on a hosted feature layer in ArcGIS Online -- it wouldn't give me the options and I wound up needing to call technical support because I couldn't figure out what was the blocking factor was in being able to modify the list associated with a field, normally an operation that works well.  As it turned out, the layer was participating a join view layer (not your average view layer, I had forgotten about creating it a couple months earlier).  It took me and the analyst some creative thinking to find the offending join view layer because it did not show up in the hosted layer's list of views...    The other layer participating in the joined view did reference this new joined view. Hello! We have a need to direct the person who has filled out a form to another application as a part of a larger workflow and would like to guide their experience so that it is tied to the information submitted through the form.  It would be great to be able to pass information from the form to the submitted screen (via generated_note_prompt_submitted) when using the web form.   Thanks for considering this idea, jess   ... Hello! We're working on a survey using geotraces to solicit feedback from the community -- and thought it might be helpful to capture a nearby address for reference. Is there a way to get a geopoint off a geotrace?  Maybe the centroid or start / end point -- seems like i need a geopoint to pass to the pulldata call for reverse geocoding -- wasn't quite sure the best way to approach it. Hello! We are setting up some job types for our record drawing processes and there's a case where the job should be reassigned back to the person that initially submitted it.   Is there a way to do this automatically? I did try entering the [JOB:CREATED_BY] token into the path properties, but it didn't want to let me save that --- wondered if there was another way to do that? thanks for any tips you've got! jess   ... We often get requests to make tool tips for dashboard elements so that we can communicate more about a particular piece of data being reported.  We've worked around this with a "more info" link that takes the user to a new page with a small graphic describing the data, but it's kinda hokey.  And we often don't want to provide lengthy descriptions in the description box.  Ideally, the user could hover over the element to get this descriptive information.    For example in this dashboard, our team wants to further communicate about some of the tools the park rangers use to achieve compliance with park rules and city regulations.  It would be nice to be able to build more of the supplemental documentation into the dashboard experience.   ...
