Johan, You may want to look at Workforce for ArcGIS. It works with both ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise and lets you integrate your work order system into ArcGIS and then take it out to the field on iOS and Android devices. Workforce has the concept of the Worker sharing their last known location so you can use this to monitor where your workers are (we built it to support dispatching unplanned work). We are also in the process of building a new solution simply for location tracking. We showed a preview of it at the Users Conference this year and it writes data to the BDS (similar to GeoEvents). We plan to start a tech preview of it soon and current plans are to release in March of next year. Here is a short blog article on it: Location Tracking Debuted at Esri User Conference (July 2018) Jeff

Ah ok. It sounds like you are after a post-processing workflow. We don't have this in our roadmap to do with Trimble or any other GNSS vendor at this time. Most of our customers are moving away from post-processing and into either RTK-based workflows or PPP-based workflows.

Hi Roger, I can pass this requirement on to the JS API team. Can you provide me with an example (screenshots would help) on how you do this today with Desktop? Thanks Jeff

Hey Chris, Please give this road map post from July 2nd a read: https://community.esri.com/docs/DOC-11989-arcgis-pro-roadmap-june-2018 I spoke with the team as well and Parcel Management is most likely not going to be in the next release (2.3) but the subsequent one (that is the "mid-term" in the blog post). With dimensioning, it is planned for 2.3. Thanks, Jeff

Roger, Thank you for the feedback. At this time, we do not have plans to do this. I would be interested in knowing more about how you would utilize the averaged points within your workflows. Thanks Jeff

Hi Rebecca, Yes. The concept of Group Layers is inside of the JavaScript 4.x API now (GroupLayer | API Reference | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.8 ) and when the JS 4.x API meets functional equivalency with 3.x, the Home app as well as other parts of the platform will be updated to support group layers. This is a big development project and not likely to see release until late 2019 at best. Jeff

Hi Christian, Thank you for the request and I do have a few questions for you: 1. Can you explain what it is that you would like to visualize from the related table? Is it the status of the inspection? 2. Can you maintain a separate attribute on the feature table that is set when performing the latest inspection and render using it? 3. Is there a staleness to the inspections? Also, I should mention that with the June release of ArcGIS Online, new functionality was added to the Join Features analysis tool. There is an option to output a feature service view (which keeps you up to date - consider it an "in-memory" join). For this update it supports 1:1 and 1:M should be coming fairly soon (but no ETA on this yet). Thanks, Jeff

Hi Alex, There is new functionality for reporting (using custom templates) that is being developed now inside of ArcGIS Pro and will be exposed as a reporting service as well as geoprocessing tools. It will ship with the next release of ArcGIS Pro (v2.3). Thanks, Jeff

Hey Chris, Yes. With the Aurora Project we are adding support for capturing Z values directly into a z-enabled geometry. With the initial release, the elevation values will be MSL but as the capability comes to our underlying runtime, we will be adding vertical transformations within the location profile settings so that we can store HAE values. The first release of Collector (Aurora) will be in Q3 on the iOS platform and Q4 on the Android platform. Thanks, Jeff

Great question Finnian! Later this year we will be adding new offline capabilities to Explorer. Both the adhoc download of map areas that you are familiar within in Collector but also the new pre-planned offline map areas that are coming within the Aurora Project. We will have a beta program this fall where you can test these new capabilities. Thanks! Jeff

This week, we have been meeting as a team to qualify backlog priorities for our next release (which will be coming in July and with code freeze, that's only 6 weeks of development work away for us). As mentioned above, Follow Feature is ranked very high and once we are full swing into development, we will update you. Stream services as a data source that powers elements is unfortunately not going to be released in this update. It is just too big of an effort to make it for July. That doesn't mean we won't start working on it though! As we move forward with Dashboard development, we are looking for early adopters that we can work with prior to releasing updates. Folks that are interested in testing new features that we add to Dashboard using your own data and workflows, and providing us with direct feedback. If you want to work with us on new development, please shoot me an email at [email protected]. Thank you for your comments and your continued support!

Hi Elias - the Follow action is a candidate for our next release. Sorry for the obtuse way of saying that but we have not finalized the ship list for the next update yet. Thanks for your ask. Would be interested in hearing more of your needs around moving assets as well if you don't mind sharing either on here or emailing me direct at [email protected]. I'm wondering if you are using GeoEvents, if there are alert requirements, if AVL systems are being used, etc. Thanks!
