Hi @DavidRunneals2, > Would be nice to be able to define what sends a notification by counter type (ArcGIS Server, Portal, Ext, Process, System, etc), the warning type (Critical, Warning, Info) ... This capability will be available in the forthcoming ArcGIS Monitor 2022 release. When you configure a notification, you will be able to define based on resource type: resourcetype.png and condition: conditiontype.png > and the time it occurs ... I believe this can be met by the back intervals option when configuring an alert. FYI, ArcGIS Monitor 2022 is targeted for release in Q4 2022. Hope this helps,

Hi @MarkusHoffmann, This is a very old idea, but it was placed in the ArcGIS Monitor Ideas forum, so I will comment on this item. > To monitor ArcGIS Server in a central IT infrastructure it would be great to be able to use one central IT monitoring application. This is the main objective of ArcGIS Monitor - the product designed to monitor the system health of ArcGIS Enterprise (which includes ArcGIS Server). Hi @DEWright_CA, > it would be good to have a better logging mechanism that will support viewing the logs for Server and Portal outside of the Web-Interface which isn't very flexible for searching. We're working on enabling better log reporting for both enterprise portals and GIS servers in ArcGIS Monitor. Please let us know if you have specific needs, or if Monitor is missing something. Hope this helps,

Hi @SteveCacioppo and @RoyceSimpson, > It would be useful to include a duration parameter to the standard alerts available in ArcGIS Monitor. ... It would be more useful if that alert only fired when the CPU is over 90% for five minutes. This capability will be available in the forthcoming ArcGIS Monitor 2022 release. If you set your data collection interval to 1 min, then when you configure an alert and set the back interval to 5 (this means each interval will equal 1 min), this should meet your needs. FYI, ArcGIS Monitor 2022 is targeted for release in Q4 2022. Hope this helps,

Hi @ChrisMathers1, > I ... miss the ability to have a "Reports" page with a few graphs of the metrics I look at most frequently. This capability will be available in the forthcoming ArcGIS Monitor 2022 release. You will be able to specify a custom layout of different data metrics (from different components) that you want to view in the same display, this will be available under the Analysis tab. FYI, ArcGIS Monitor 2022 is targeted for release in Q4 2022. Hope this helps,

Hi @David_Horsey_old, > It would be great in this situation if the user could be presented with an option to select a time window for when a monitor should be active. This capability will be available in the forthcoming ArcGIS Monitor 2022 release. You will be able to specify an incident - a period of time where ArcGIS Monitor does not capture data metrics, nor send alerts. FYI, ArcGIS Monitor 2022 is targeted for release in Q4 2022. Hi @Anneka_France, > ... why can't you pan or zoom to for grouped values in the new ArcGIS Dashboards? Seems like very basic functionality... Apologies for the late reply. I can't comment on this enhancement, as I don't work on the ArcGIS Dashboards team. I moved to a different team about a year ago. Sorry. Please vote for and add comments to this similar submitted enhancement request, Operations Dashboard: Add "Zoom to" to grouped or fixed values Category Selector Hope this helps,

A new ArcGIS Monitor user success story featuring the City of Calgary, Alberta was just published. It describes how Monitor was used to help optimize their ArcGIS Enterprise deployment and proactively manages potential system disruptions. "From fewer outages to tracking down poorly performing web services, the GBS team has seen many positive benefits with ArcGIS Monitor. According to Fung, ArcGIS Monitor helps him and another team member care for everything, and they can determine a problem before the client realizes there is one. He adds that there are also fewer outages for web services, which translates to less lost work time."
