Hi @GisMan, Are metrics being collected for other components like the GIS Server and web services? If not, can you ensure you've applied the new ArcGIS Monitor 2024.0 license file? We've not heard of any issue of metrics not collecting for a host after the upgrade to ArcGIS Monitor 2024.0. Please contact Esri Tech Support and open a case so they can help investigate further and double check the upgrade process worked. Hope this helps,

Hi @GisMan, Thanks for clarifying. You can view how many cores are being used by ArcGIS Server on its own machine by viewing the metric on the host component properties. Monitoring tab > select the host where ArcGIS Server is installed on > Metrics sub tab > CPU Cores Utilized - this represents the number of logical CPU cores in use. The data expression to query for this in an analysis view, Hope this helps

E.g., You are not trying to upgrade from Monitor 2023 to a later release, is that right? If this is a new Monitor install, then can you please delete your current agm database and re-create it using the script provided in the help topic? Also: for the Address parameter, can you try specifying the machine name instead of localhost? Hope this helps,

Do you have all ArcGIS Enterprise components (Enterprise portal, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Data Store) installed on the same machine - and you are asking how much CPU is being used by just ArcGIS Server? or Do you have just ArcGIS Server installed on its own machine - and you are asking how much CPU it uses from the 8 cores available?

To create the ArcGIS Monitor database in PostgreSQL, did you run the script that is provided in the help topic you referenced? The script creates a new database called "agm" and a user called "agm" with the appropriate permissions. Hope this helps,

Hi @Dan_Brumm, Please confirm with your admin that they downloaded the new and different ArcGIS Monitor 2024.0 license file from My Esri. FYI, the file was renamed and changed from the one used for Monitor 2023.x. Hope this helps,

Hi @MichaelBartlett, It looks like you're trying to modify some parameters in the URL string for loading the display of ArcGIS Monitor. This is not a supported capability in Monitor. Sorry. Please submit a new enhancement request in the ArcGIS Monitor Ideas forum for this enhancement. FYI, we are actively working on improving the date/time ranges for displaying metrics in analysis views. You can also vote for this enhancement, Improve ability to query on metric values Please add comments if you have additional requirements. Hope this helps,

Hi @TomasPokorny and @GeoFinn, ArcGIS Monitor can work with self-signed certificates. But you might be encountering another issue(s) with your ArcGIS Monitor deployment. I recommend you contact Esri Tech Support so they can help you investigate further.

ArcGIS Monitor 2024.0 will include the following: Updated deployment architecture ArcGIS Monitor Agent will have a "discover" capability New Dataviews New Analysis view samples New Command Line Interface (CLI) to Monitor post-installation A blog that describes each of these items in more detail will be published when Monitor 2024.0 is released.
