The ArcGIS collector Fails to sync the edits that done in the offline mode to the database After downloading the map to the device and go offline a point is added to the map then after going online and sync the edit I found that the point is stored only in the map or the site which was taken offline and not reflected to the service or the database. The Point is added now After going offline and sync the point is not showing in other sites or the services it self if the edits was done online the points is reflected directly to the database and to the service Regards, Ahmad Saleh

Hi Russell, The owner of the map is the Administrator and he can see the map but he cannot download the map using the collector! the admin can see the following screenshot after he login I didn't know from where the secured access property was gained to this service. thanks

Dear Dan, Thanks for the quick response but my organization allows sharing with the public, also I am using the administrators account to login to the ArcGIS collector and even the administrator cannot download the map Regards, Ahmad Saleh

The tiles of the basemap cannot be downloaded due to a security issue while the service is not secured. Despite the fact that the basemap was shared with everybody on the ArcGIS Online (AGOL), the ArcGIS collector is unable to download the map to be used offline and displays the following message “the map failed to download with the message: Unauthorized access to a secure service“. It seems that there is a security issue that prevents the tiles to be downloaded to the device. What might be the source of it. Thanks, Ahmad Saleh

Hi Jason, How many services (ARCSOC.exe)you already published at your machine ? and How many cores are installed on you machine ? the number on the ArcSOC.exe should be < 4*number of cores see the following link : https://community.esri.com/thread/114458#428746

Many thanks Alice for your prompt help. excuse me for my new naif question, I am trying first to get the list of users who are connected to the enterprise geodatabase "Admin" in my case I have two users ( user1 and user 2 ) But when I past the code: userList = arcpy.ListUsers("Database Connections/admin.sde") nothing happens, what other issues should I consider ? Hello All, Is there any method that enables the Administrator to save the users edits before disconnecting them for an enterprise geodatabase. Because I am disconnecting users as shown in the screenshot, but if they didn’t save their edits before disconnecting them all edits will be lost. I am using ArcGIS 10.2.2 , and SQL server 2014 Thanks, Ahmad

Hi Nate , Despite the fact that I have followed the three rules in order to read an map service in ArcPad 10.2.1, the ArcPad still fails to read the map service and shows the error HTTP error 400 , which is found to be a bug in ArcPad 10.2.1 and 10.2.2, So its not useful to consume a map service in ArcPad also that you should use Web Mercator projection not you preferred projection

Hi All, How to permanently reclassify "Sort" the attribute table records based on a field value ? I try the geoprocessing tool Sort (Data Management), but this tool always need to write a new output feature or table with a correct values, what I need is to permanently sort the value on the same table or feature class. Many thanks Jay for you input , in my case the link isn't helpful sicne I am using relate form the TOC, and when editing the table "aaa" isn't shown in the Attributes window under the relationship label, beside of this I didn't found a method to Reclassify the other relationship such as " Joint service council data " which is done using Relationship feature class. Is there any method to force ArcMap to respect the attribute table entries in the relationship tabs? I have a table named “aaa” which is related to a feature class “communities”, the values in the table “aaa” are entered based on the approval year, Now when I identify a point I was surprised that the tabs doesn’t respect the attribute table sort which is based on the approval year or the objectID Regards, Ahmad

Hi All, I couldn’t figure out how to add multiple users to an Enterprise database in one go. Please consider the following situation: 1 ) I have an enterprise database named “ Test02” 2) Then I try to add multiple users to it in one go, these users are stored before in the SQL server. 3) Now the problem that I can’t add them all to the database and I need to add each user alone and set a password to it. Is there any method to see all users in the SQL server and add (all or some ) of them to the database. Many thanks, Ahmad
