Hi, Maybe you are using 'head light' instead of 'scene light' in CE? Did you try and toggle the light type with 'l' (lower case L) ? Hi, In any case I would try KML. It's the best file format for exchanging georeferenced models between packages that do not support GDBs. Hey, Yes, the vertex order drives the normal direction. Btw. you can write a rule that automatically fixes the orientation if needed. Let me know if yo need the code. Hey Erwin, I just checked creating the beveled corners. That seems to be trickier than thought, especially with concave footprints since you can not synchronize the bevel with neighboring facade shapes. I think this is not really possible in CGA, but would have to dig a lot deeper.. Hey guys, I'd try to avoid making corners round with assets, since you will run into problems when dealing with non-rectangular footprints. I'd use a recursive rule that creates the bevels, similar to the 'dome roof' of the 'Desert City Example'. Let me know if you need more inputs. Matt Interested in CityEngine Training or Services? Hey Alan, I'm sure this may change at one point in the upcoming future. Having a georeferenced sunsystem is quite important. For actual numerical analysis (CE is not a simulation system), you need to use the 3D-Analyst extension for ArcGIS. Ok? Matt Interested in CityEngine training or services? Contact me! Well, there is just no default functionality for legends in CityEngine. It seems you're best off creating one picture with all data of all seven layers. To have it more dynamic, you need to dive into Python scripting. Sorry. Hi, the easiest way to create a legend is just to create a picture in e.g. PhotoShop and place it in the scene, as a map layer of the type 'texture' (see docs). Ok? m. Hi, 1] Yes, you can colorize with ramps in CGA. See here: colorRamp 2] Legends: Legends are not directly possible in CGA. But I have developed custom python scripts for ourselves and a client that do exactly that. If you're interested in such a service, let me know. --> Garsdale Design Limited Matt Interested in CityEngine training or services? Contact me!
