It worked under rainy conditions under oak and beech canopy (worst test conditions I could find :-)) and my results are within a meter, although I sometimes had to wait a little for the unit to aquire the sbas signal. In optimal conditions we get typically less than 50 cm. I have no experience near tall structures/buildings, we are a forestry, but I suspect the reception of any gnss antenna without correction signal will be worse when the line of sight to the satellite providing the sbas is broken. You might need a system with a separate correction signal subscription. I had three units for testing: Stonex 500, failed for us because it isn't whitelisted for (nor working with) iOS which my company requires, a Trimble R1 and the arrow 100 and I found the Arrow 100 better than the Trimble with quite a margin, tested them alongside in the same wet conditions. These are all apparatus which need to be linked to a mobile device. For us that's a plus because my collegues already are familiar with using collector so after coupling the device they work as usual, only more precise. Where Stonex 500 and Trimble R1 are 'boxes' (one unit) the arrow series comes with a separate/external cabled antenna, slightly less comforable, the external antenna is mandatory. The antenna sits in a pocket on top of a baseball cap so the highest point and you keep your hands free, the unit itself sits in a pouch on your belt. There seems to be a pole-on-a-vest solution so you can get more height, the cap is good enough for me. I was able to test the unit(s) before I made the decision which one to buy, you may be able to do the same. Regards, bert

Hello Victoria, Thanks for your reaction. The ground surface color is set to transparent. I have the dem's in my ground surface unlike your screenshot, I try to use them as better (more detailed) surface data than the world elevation3d surface And the Solution: I had switched off WorldElevation3D/Terrain3D which is necessary... Formulating this answer got me to find this, thanks for your time! Regards, Bert

I've loaded two ahn2 dem's and although I can see the basemap in 3D many white spots appear, also there is a gap between them. What am I doing wrong? Same issue on two different computers/different hardware, so is this a driver thing?

I've been using the EOS Arrow100 gnss receiver and I'm happy with the results. Good submeter accuracy which is enough for us (no subscription costs). Else I would have bought the Arrow 200 or Gold. You might check them out, works like a charm on Collector on iOS and Android. Be sure to look at the ESRI whitelist: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/collector/ipad/help/high-accuracy-prep.htm#ESRI_SECTION2_612D328A655644DCAF5CF0210308C821 Bert

Advised by support I deleted both [CreationDate] and [CreationDate_1] as well as [EditDate]. (all my 'date' values in the attribute table). This got rid of the errormessages but after a line split I had one empty object and the original object. So, I restored from backup and re-did my edit work. bottom line: always have a backup. regards, Bert

So I have this 900+ polylines in a hosted feature layer and I'm editing/updating from arcgis pro(2.6.0) The layer has a subtype and seven or eight coded value domains. When attempting to split a line (an action which I have done numerous times before) I get: The [CreationDate_1] isn't the subtype column and has no domain, also it is nullable. the field type is 'date' as expected. As I said, this has been working before so I suspect some sort of corruption. I created a local copy ('feature class to feature class' conversion tool) and when I edit a line in that layer I can't see the attributes in the attribute pane (but they are present and editable in the attribute table). So I'm not very eager to overwrite the weblayer to 'test'. Next I will try to export the hosted feature layer to a shapefile and open that, perhaps using arcmap. Not very happy missing this deadline. And when creating a new line: seems like another attribute though? CreationDate in stead of CreationDate_1 ?? Does anyone recognise this? Any idea's on how to solve it? Support case has been filed. Thanks for your time, regards, Bert

So I have a bunch of webmaps where my collegues need to look at and edit some properties. Most of them aren't very experienced to work from screen so I would like to make things as easy as possible for them. I notice when opening a webmap the 'content' tab is selected by default. I would like to have the 'legend' tab selected and the legend visible when opening the webmap. This way the legend is displayed alongside the map and everything is clear at once (hopefully) It seems like a natural thing to offer the customer. Is such a thing possible? Regards, Bert

Hi, Did you solve your problem yet? I seem to be able to use different symbologies in agol using the same feature layer without any problem. having one subtype and six domains I was able to make a webmap with several copies of the same feature layer with the symbology adapted for the different domains. regards, Bert

I'm filling in some missing attributes in a feature layer using 'calculate field' and I tried: and this works, kind of. Empty fields gets filled in with '3' but any field already filled are emptied and <null> afterwards. So for the moment I have: which covers all possible values (in the coded value domain on this attribute). This works but is cumbersome. What I would like to do is something like How can I achieve this ... else do nothing ... ? Thanks in advance for your time. Bert Kraan

So, I create a notebook in arcgis pro 2.5.2, open the catalog pane, click the notebook and ... why is it a problem to open a notebook from a unc path? I can't imagine I'm the first to run into this, could not find it here though, anyone who knows a way out of this? regards, Bert

A simple hosted feature layer, collegue's use it offline in collector. Somehow it grew two CreationDate, Creator, EditDate and Editor fields. or at last the aliases are the same, the fieldname shows CreationDate and CreationDate_1 and so on. This is very annoying when I base the symbology on the CreationDate and at a point in time CreationDate_1 is getting used instead. Also it is confusing when using for example the definitionquery as that uses the Alias'es: I would like to know: - what I did wrong to cause the creation of the extra fields - How to clean it up so i can get rid of the surplus fields Thank you for your time, Bert

We use iphones and ipads and they work great, no 'classic' only collector. Should you consider using an external gnss antenna because of better accuracy than your average phone perhaps read this: Prepare for high-accuracy data collection—Collector for ArcGIS | Documentation because not all gnss antenna's are cerfified with all smartphones so when you choose android (or ios) today you may limit your choices tomorrow. Support told me the default value for the datefield (12/30/1899) is exactly what triggers the bug (their words). It should be fixed by now, in the end I worked around by using arcmap 10.6 which works fine with my dataset.

After some editing in the attributetable, nothing fancy, just some text update, I get this error once or twice a day. after that, attribute table displays columns but no records I use arcgis pro 2.5.1, on a virtualized windows 10 machine having 4 cores and 16GB of which about 5 is still free When I close arcgis pro, restart and re-open the project all is ok ... Anyone else seen this?
