Hello Dan and Xander, Sorry it took a while before i could get back on this, thanks for both your reactions. I found this to do what I wanted: if creator is empty copy value from creator_1 else take current value. Unclear why the else is needed but if i omit that the field gets emptied (null) Is there a arcade for dummies somewhere? I can't find much help from the reference Bert

I try to clean up an attributetable using calculate field and arcade, some records have their creator in a column 'creator_1' instead of creator so I wrote: IIf(IsEmpty($feature.Creator),$feature.Creator_1,$feature.Creator) But all I get is: Invalid expression. error on line 1. Open parenthesis expected I've looked at the arcade reference and other sources I could think of but I can't see what i'm doing wrong. ArcGIS PRO 2.5.1 your help would be appreciated! regards, Bert

A collegue used collector to record some records but a datefield wasn't filled. I decided to use arcade to fill the field: But instead of May 11th I see June 10th. This is so confusing. I understand that date is stored in utc but displayed in my local timezone (I'm near Amsterdam) so I was expecting some hours difference but this seems more than a month. What am I doing wrong? regards, Bert

I found it. I'm on an old windows 7 machine in the Netherlands, perhaps thats the reason. I changed my regional settings to 'US' which solved the problem.

I just noticed an odd map scale: I can type something like 1:1.000.000 but that doesn't do anything useful. the same happens in multiple projects or when just creating a new project with an empty map Anyone an idea on what I'm doing wrong?

No, not hosted on agol, as I wrote before: "I've downloaded the feature layer as a .gdb from our own arcgis online, so it arrived as a zipfile with the gdb named something like 0f4a0f952f304cd39bf3594141fad64c.gdb"

I do this every day to visualise progress of a project, until a few days ago everything was as expected including the attribute table. I would be able to PM you the file should you want.

I loaded a point feature layer with 178 records in arcgis pro 2.5. Everything is showing in the map as expected. But my attribute table is not showing: the switch button switches the selected rows but shows nothing. The Fields View button results in Other layers in the map are showing their attribute tables ok. the layer shows up OK in arcmap 10.6 and the attribute table is visible also in 10.6. I downloaded the layer as gdb from agol. I have done this before and had no problems earlier. thanks for your time, Bert

Thank you very much Egge-Jan. Yes loading WFS in a WMS might not be a good idea so this had to fail anyway. I will build upon your example on TWIAV. Kind regards, Bert Kraan

Hi, I published a feature layer as WFS in agol. It will load in arcgis pro but not in arcmap 10.3 and I do get response in a browser using the url provided by agol: https://dservices2.arcgis.com/hZdFa5fDjbrKiphq/arcgis/services/Flora/WFSServer?service=wfs&request=getcapabilities But what is the layername (which I need for a leafjet page)? also I can't get any available layer in Qgis. Your help is appreciated, thanks for your time Bert

We have 600+ point features with location accuracy of about 6 meter, collected years ago using an older gps device. The points are really hard to find as they are scattered throughout the forest and consist of pipes flush with the ground, in practice a metal detector is a must to find them. Recently we purchased an Arrow 100 which offers sub-meter location data and I want to update all old points so our staff can find them much faster. When I select, edit and submit a point in Collector the actual location is not updated. The only way as far as I found is edit, then move the crosshair by hand and then 'update point' and 'submit' This is a manual process, slow and it introduces it's own errors. Is there any way to edit the point feature and update the location to the data available from the gnss antenna automatically? I also noticed the 'extra fields' (Prepare for high-accuracy data collection—Collector for ArcGIS | Documentation ) like horizontal accuracy don't get filled in when I edit a point, they only occur when creating a new point but all I want to do is update the location of the existing points. Is that possible? Thanks in advance for reading, regards. Bert
