Sorry about your issue, this seems like a very bad bug. Unfortunately I can't access your story, one of the webmap it includes must not be shared publicly My Stories | Story Maps. Could you use My Stories to make sure everything is shared? Thanks

Hi Tyler, Thanks for the kind note. Unfortunately the image positionnement in Map Series with the center option is as you noticed not optimal, that's a technological limitation. We kept it there as it's useful for some case on Desktop but we don't recommend it. In Map Series tab and bullet layout, the description panel is floating over your content. So with Fit, Fill and Stretch your image will use the full main stage and some part will be under the description panel. In Map Series, if you use the accordion layout as the accordion will be on the side, the fit, Fill and Stretch option will work as you expect and you won't miss some part of the image. Another option that has a big constraint is to not have any description text in tab or bullet, that way you won't miss some of your images. Sorry we know this is a limitation and Map Journal may be your only solution if you don't want your image to be partially hidden.

Hi Sara, Sorry about your issue. We did not enable the navigation on the mobile popup in an attempt to encourage creating simple story. What we recommend is that you author your story in a way that users will always get one thing when clicking on a map feature. In your case it looks like you are selecting a large polygon, is there more layer under that are not visible to the user. Would it help if those data where above? But I do understand this is not always possible so I kept track of your issue at Popup on the mobile view don't have the navigation buttons · Issue #13 · Esri/map-series-storytelling-template-js · GitH… we will let you know there if we fix it. Sorry about this and thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately that's not a settings, Map Journal and Map Series popup are different. Map Journal is using the default style popup whereas Map Series is displaying the popup in a separate panel. Displaying the popup in a separate panel seems to works best, we are going to work on standardizing this across our apps.

Ok great. Just to clarify for others, the URL to be used to enter builder when the application is deployed on custom server would be http://gis.ashland.or.us/LithiaHistoric/?edit (use ?edit not &edit). We will look to fix the issue in My Stories, thanks for feedback.

Have you edited the URL of the item that has been created using the builder? When you are doing so, you should still be able to use the builder, it will just ask you to sign-in inside the builder. What was happening for you? But if you have trouble with that, one way to do it is to create another Web Mapping Application item. The one where you just give the URL of your application. Then you keep the item generated through the builder as it was created without much information and nobody will find it

Yes swapping out the folder is all you need. Optionally you are happy with the new tour, you can also delete the webmap that you were using in that first tour.

I haven't been able to reproduce on IE or Firefox using the latest version. I will dig more. We support Firefox and IE, so you don't have to switch but I have to say that when you see that kind of issue, using Chrome can help. Thanks for the feedback.

Ok sorry about this, this sounds like a bug. Do you if you are using the latest version of the template? We had a bug couple of versions ago where the logo would not stick when clicking the save button. Could you try use that exact process: - enter the custom logo - click anywhere on the white space below the preview - click on save dialog

From your screenshot it looks like the thumbnail and the main picture are always the same. Is that correct? If so, I guess your issue is that the numbering is not what you expect? This maybe because you are using the first point as an introduction. You can change that settings through the Organize button (above the carousel). If not, could you share a link to your tour? Hope this helps

Yes, if you configure the application that you are hosting on your server through the appid instead of webmap, all the parameters that you can define through the hosted builder will also be applied to the version you are hosting. That way you don't have to duplicate the title/subtitle for example. All the options in index.html have an equivalent in the builder through inline editing or the settings dialog.
