I started from scratch by matching scales between the two files, then matched projections, then used the "mosaic to new raster" tool; this seemed to work. Thanks a lot for pointing me to in the right direction guys, you were a big help.

I believe I'm having a similar issue. I have a 3d multipatch polygon that I want to "burn" into or modify a raster file. I've converted the multipatch to a raster and tried to mosaic but it doesn't seem to work, I just get the following image/raster as my result... Someone has also suggested the "Con(IsNull("New_DEM"),"DEM", ("DEM" + "New_DEM"))" method but it just returns the smaller area. Here is my original post... Re: Update DEM or elevation data

I ran Con(IsNull("New_DEM"),"DEM", ("DEM" + "New_DEM")) first then I tried changing the extent and running it again, both gave me the same result (pic attached). I'm probably making this harder than it really is. Thanks for your time and patience.

Yea, when I did that it seemed to only change the converted multipatch raster.

This wouldn't solve my problem because if I raise the multipatch is would cause a gap b/w the raster and the road (multipatch) in some places. The multipatch is 3d as well. Thanks for the reply though.

I converted the multipatch to a raster. Is there a way to combine or merge the two rasters together, overriding the existing raster's info only where the new raster overlaps?

Is there a way to update/change a DEM file or some kind of elevation layer which I could use as a terrain? Basically, I have a DEM which has current elevation and I have a 3d multipatch polygon which represents a road that will be built. The road construction will change the landscape which is represented in the multipatch polygon. I need the elevation of the multipatch to be represented in the terrain as well as the surrounding areas current elevation. I hope that makes sense. I included a picture and you can see where the road is intersected by the terrain. Thanks for the help.

We finally figured it out late yesterday. Apparently we forgot to tell IT to add the maps to the proxy server. So, they seem to be functioning properly now. Thanks for all the help on this. Hopefully, someone else will benefit from this thread.

My mistake, the water distribution map is shared only within an arcgis group, I believe. The parks shorlist map is the one we are really trying to figure out. We can't figure out why it will not come up outside our network when our flex maps do. The city hall floor plans map should have an arcgis login pop up in order to view as well.

Hey folks I need some help... We have multiple flex maps working fine on our server but for some reason none of our non-flex maps are working outside the network. I'm not sure why, can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks for the help. -Brian http://maps.ci.liberty.mo.us/

In the map details there only shows 3 layers: my geoform pt layer, the light gray canvas base/mapserver layer, and the light gray canvas reference/mapserver. My geoform pt layer is a feature service hosted on our ArcServer. I'm not aware of any 'sharing' ability for a feature service.

I shared the map and the app with the specific group I'm in but I'm still having the same issue. Am I missing something? Also, I have no problem using it on a PC in a browser.

We have two maps in collector in which the layers do not draw. They are editable rest services and they are in the layers list but we are unable to toggle them on. Has anyone else run into this issue? We have other collector maps that are, as far as I can tell, setup the same way and they work just fine.

I tested the geoform app with a new webmap and got the same results. I went ahead and tested it with a different layer/webmap with the same results as well. I'm not sure what I'm missing here. I have only been able to test it on android phones but the results have all be the same.
