Hi @Olwyn_Bruce Can you elaborate on what you'd like to see? The home page currently allows full and half screen size display of the cover image. The home page is designed to be responsive to the size of the screen and adjust components accordingly. That does mean that the cover image won't display exactly the same way on different screens. You do have the ability to set the focal point of your cover image that will always be visible regardless of the screen size. On the desktop, you can pretty much see the full cover image. To display at full screen size on a phone, the cover image does get clipped to fit the screen Are you suggesting we allow scaling the cover image like my mockup below? This would have implications for scaling all components on the home page. For instance, how would a logo and title appear over this cover image? Would they scale down too? What about item gallery thumbails? They might look disproportionately large with a scaled down cover image. In general, the home page follows a responsive design pattern that most modern websites follow. Components maintain their relative size for accessibilty and the layout adjusts accordingly.

There is no current ability to author multiple home pages and assign one for display to a given user type. However, you can take advantage of ArcGIS Online's sharing model to control what items people see displayed in an item gallery on the home page. For example, say you have 3 groups with unique members and items shared to it. Only members of Group A can see items in Group A and so on. If you were to share all of these same items to a 4th group that you display on your home page, members of Group A would only see the Group A items appear in the item gallery on the home page. Same for Group B and C members. Instead of consolidating items into a single group, you could add three item galleries that point to groups A, B and C, respectively. A member of Group A would only see the Group A item gallery. This is because the home page automatically hides groups that are "empty" for that user. Adding multiple groups as item galleries is a viable option if you only have a few groups to display. Remember, the home page can contain a maximum of 15 content blocks (including text and link blocks) and you'd run out of blocks quickly. Sharing of items in groups isn't so clear cut as this example. However, the general principle is that members will only see items in the item gallery that have been shared to them via groups. This principle also applies to anonymous users who visit your home page, where they will only see items in gallries that are shared publicly.

There is a global setting for this that an administrator can set on the Organization tab that restricts members from sharing items publicly. See this help topic. https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/administer/configure-security.htm Members can share content publicly—Enable this option to allow members to make their profile visible to everyone (public), share their web apps and other items with the public, or embed their maps or groups in websites.

There is an issue that prevents the cover image from displaying all the time. Specifically, there is a problem with a security token. We've identified the problem and will update AGOL this evening. The fix should address the problem, but please let us know if you have further issue. Thanks for reporting this to us. Mike

Ajinkya, As far as I know, there isn't a way via the UX to add multiple PDFs at once to AGOL as items. Mike

I am not a licensing expert, but I think these steps will help you find the user who has taken a license offline. 1. Sign in to ArcGIS Online as an administrator 2. Navigate to the Organization tab and the Licensing sub-tab. 3. Click Add-on Licenses and License Activity 4. You'll see a list of members license activity. As you scroll through the list, you may come across a member with a disconnected license. 5.Disconnected users will need to start ArcGIS Pro to disconnect. 6. In Pro, go to the Project menu and click the licensing tab. 7. Uncheck the option to work offline. If it is grayed out, the user will need to sign in to ArcGIS Online first. 8. Upon unchecking the option, you should see the user listed in your License Activity no longer shows as disconnected. You can choose to prevent users from going offline by disabling the option. Hope this helps. Mike

Groups tend to have a lot of items, so there can be a lot to scroll through even when you only have a couple of item galleries on the home page. And when you think about viewing the home page on a phone, it will require even more scrolling. It may be useful to change how you organize and present content on your home page. Adopting a more hierarchical approach could yield a better result. For example, a city might create an item gallery with items that link to group, like a group for the police department, fire department and so on. In this example, the home page has 4 items in the gallery. But because those items actually reference groups, clicking on one would navigate to a group if any number of items. To create this hierarchy, Create a group for your item gallery that will contain items that link to other groups. Create an item that points to an existing group with content. From My Content, click the "Add Item" button and choose "From a URL", Choose the "Document" option and specify the URL to your group. In another browser tab, you can navigate to your group and copy the URL. Before you copy, you can also choose which tab to land on, for example, the Content tab of the group and hide the filter. This will be reflected in the URL. Set the title, tags and set a thumbnail. Share this item to your item gallery group. The share settings of the item will determine who can see it. Thus, access to the fire department will reflect how you share the item that points to the fire department. Hope this helps, Mike

Conor Graham Do you mean display in a carousel fashion on the home page where they automatically rotate or each time you refresh the page, you get a random one, but it doesn't change unless you refresh again. Mike

Dan McCoy Yes, there have been changes here and what you want is possible. When the Admin deletes a member from the Organization, if Esri Access is enabled, the account will convert to a personal (public) account. If Esri Access is NOT enabled, then the member will be completely deleted. The member can't own content or groups when being removed.

I suspect we may be too restrictive when validating the email address. Does your email address have characters other than numbers and letters? For example, do you have an underscore in your company name, the part after the @ sign? That is being flagged as invalid right now. Perhaps you can give us your email address so we can check. I'd suggest contacting Esri Technical support rather than posting here on a public forum Alternatively, you can try to figure out what part of your email address is causing the problem and let us know. Most likely, it is a special character. If you turn off the contact us link, you can save your home page. Or alternatively, use a different email address temporarily that will validate. Thanks, Mike

These recommendations are provided by our usability and accessibility team. Do: Utilize branded icons with sufficient contrast. Brand images with logo in corner. Use logos with imagery or solid brand color background. Use a map or terrain background. Avoid: Adding any text over the thumbnail. This is especially problematic when it is small or low contrast. Repeating text on the thumbnail that's already part of the title or summary. Placing all text on the thumbnail and not showing the title or summary. Some room for improvement for us here at Esri too! Thanks, Mike
