This is a problem that is specific to IE7... Does it work correctly in Firefox? Can you post the URL to your maps service here? Mike

Clem, I think the reason why it doesn??t work in arcgis online is because the file has several recursive link references. The file: http://mw1.google.com/mw-earth-vectordb/Imagery_Updates/imagery_updates.kml internally references: http://mw1.google.com/mw-earth-vectordb/Imagery_Updates/latest_update.kml which also references: http://mw1.google.com/mw-earth-vectordb/Imagery_Updates/01-11-2012_Imagery_Update.kmz You can put the last one in arcgis online and it works. I think this is a limitation, but we'll have to investigate further. Thanks, Mike

Thank you for taking the time to document the symbolizing problem. I can reproduce the problem and will document this issue. Unfortunately, it won't be fixed for our upcoming release in 2 weeks, but we'll get it in the next one. This problem only seems to appear when you override an individual symbol when using the unique symbols option. You can symbolize the points by changing the lines to single symbol again, symbolizing the points, then using unique symbols for the lines again. Thanks, Mike

In general, items share with a group cannot be modified by other group members. A group member will be able to open a webmap, and make changes to it, but they won't be able to save the changes back to the map. They can only make a copy of the map with their changes. There is one exception to this rule when the map contains a layer that references a feature service. If that feature service allows anonymous editing, then anyone can edit the features in that layer. Thanks, Mike

I'm not 100% sure it will fix existing maps...however, what I was able to test out is that any reordering of layers is being preserved. If it doesn't fix the map immediately, I believe if you reorder some layers, then save your map, it probably will fix any problem. As far as your symbolization issue, I am not able to reproduce this looking at your map. http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=e0e52db628584b93a1be91abe33c6d77 I was able to change the symbols of, for example, the trail caution areas. What browser and version are you using? Can you try clearing your browser cache and opening the map again? Thanks, Mike

Stephanie, Your problem appears to be a bug. This should be fixed when we update the website in a few weeks. As a workaround, you might try explicitly add the layers in the order you want to appear, bottom to top, rather than trying to arrange the order later. I've not tried this with the number of layers you have, however... Thanks, Mike

You are getting an access denied error. Are you editing a feature service hosted on your ArcGIS Server? It seems like it may be a configuration issue of the service itself. Mike

What do you mean moved off arcgis.com and onto a hosted arcgis server? Do you have a beta subscription to ArcGIS Online with your own custom URL? Thanks, Mike

If you're trying to do multi-user editing on shapefiles and csvs uploaded to the map, then no, only one user can really edit the map. Multi-user editing is supported on feature services hosted on your ArcGIS Server. Thanks, Mike

Hetal, Soon, you'll be able to make web services out of your data by purchasing a subscription to ArcGIS Online. Here's a thread with a link for more information. http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/45306-So-can-I-open-my-map-package-in-ArcGIS.com-map-viewer Thanks, Mike

You would need to upload your points into a webmap, then open that webmap in the silverlight application builder as described here. http://help.arcgis.com/en/webapps/silverlightviewer/help/index.html#/Opening_a_web_map/017700000049000000/ Thanks, Mike

Notifications never get removed unless you remove it. The group may have been deleted by its owner, in which case the invitation would also be removed (but the notification would remain). Did you join the group already? Again, the notification will remain after you've joined the group. Mike

Shawn, Legend swatches get cached on the server for older versions of Internet Explorer... The way to clear the cache and regenerate it on arcgis online is to change the order of the layers in your service temporarily, access the service from arcgis online (viewing the legend), then changing the order of your layers back again. Thanks, Mike
