There is an option when publishing from ArcGIS Desktop to enable both the map and feature service. This ability doesn't exist when creating a feature service from the website, arcgis.com. Thanks, Mike

As long as you're viewing the same data, the quality should be the same. Are you sure you're pointing to the same data? Make sure you're comparing the data at the same scale as well. ArcMap will resample the tiled images for scales in between the cached scale levels. You can force the scale of the map to match the nearest cached scale of any service in the map by right-clicking the layer and choosing 'Zoom To Nearest Cache Resolution'. Thanks, Mike

Do you mean add widgets to a template application and publish it to ArcGIS Online? No. Can you download a template and modify the code and publish it to your own web server? Yes. Thanks, Mike

How about trying these non-esri apps...do they work? http://html5demos.com/geo http://benwerd.com/lab/geo.php This will help us tell if it's our app or the device. Thanks, Mike

danjc Our database shows two notifications for group invitations. It looks like you are a member of one of the two groups already, so you have accepted the invitation. Is it possible you declined membership in the second? Or if you had accepted, you could have been removed from the group by the owner. Once an invitation is accepted or declined, it is removed from your pending invitations. In any event, perhaps you can ask the group owner to invite you again. If you experience the same trouble, perhaps you can work with the group owner to document the workflow so that we might troubleshoot this further. Thanks, Mike

1. When a popup is configured, the current fields in the map service are stored in the web map. Thus, even though the fields in the service changed, the web map will not reflect the change. The solution is to remove and add the layer again, as you've found. Admittedly, this is a bit inconvenient because you lose all the configuration you made to the layer. This is an issue we are aware of but have no immediate timetable for when it will be addressed. It's a bit tricky to solve all cases of field changes. In your case, adding a field would be relatively easy to address. However, if fields are renamed or deleted and the popup utilized those fields, we'd have to help you see where your popup is incorrectly configured. 2. The fact that you can't have a blank title is a bug that was introduced with our last update. Extending ArcGIS.com to support multiple languages caused this problem. The only workaround at this time is to have a field in your map service with all blank values. Assigning the title to this field would yield the same result you had previously. This will be addressed in our next update. Thanks, Mike

This is currently working for me. Are you still seeing this? Does this happen no matter what map you're looking at? Did you set a different language in your profile? Are you using the beta version of an organizational subscription? Thanks, Mike

When you generate the embed code, the current extent of the map is used to create the embedded map. This has been the default behavior for perhaps 6 months... So if you generated the code for your embedded map before that, you might want to do it again, and just zoom to your area of interest first. Thanks, Mike

ArcGIS.com currently supports image services from ArcGIS Server. We do have longer term plans to support images through a subscription, but this will not be available when subscriptions are initially released. Thanks, Mike

You need ArcGIS Server to do multi-user editing. In the future, an ArcGIS Online subscription will support this too, by allowing you to create a service hosted in ArcGIS Online. The only way to do it without this is to share the same username/password with the group. This wouldn't really support concurrent editing well, however. Thanks, Mike
