Attach code is not a mechanism for adding a custom feature to an application. It's simply a mechanism for people to share code and allow others to download it. For example, many people want to share code samples. This is how they would do it. Thanks, Mike

If you want a unique image for each row in the CSV, then you need a field to contain the URL. If you want the same image displayed for all rows, then you can simply add an image media with a hard coded URL to one image. There is no ability to add the image directly from the popup. You can only define an image to display with a popup when you configure the popup. Thanks, Mike

Can you elaborate? Are you trying to load a toolbox downloaded from ArcGIS.com into ArcGIS Desktop? What is the URL to the item you are downloading? Mike

If the points are displaying correctly, I suppose you must have the correct coordinates in the CSV file (or if you have addresses, that will work too, up to 250 addresses). As far as displaying a popup with a picture in it, each record in your CSV file has to store the URL to the image that resides on the web somewhere. ArcGIS Online can't store your images for you. Here's a post that describes how you could do it. http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/52504-Configure-pop-up-for-individual-features?p=179544&viewfull=1#post179544 Thanks, Mike

Actually, moving it into the organization is probably not a good idea. The URL would change to the group, and would now be an organization URL... Mike

You can only transfer ownership between members of the organization, not from your personal account. What you could do (I've not tried this myself) is join the organization from your personal account. Then you can transfer ownership. However, if you have personal items in your personal account, they will now fall under the control of the administrator of the organization. You could then remove your personal account from the organization, but you would lose any groups/items in your personal account because to remove a member, their account has to be empty. Thanks, Mike

When configuring the popup in the web map, choose the 'Custom' option then click the Configure button to lay out your popup. You can insert field values and enter carriage returns to create space between values. Thanks, Mike

it seems like you are on the right path. You can upload CSV data and display it over the map from the Add menu, add from file or add from web (if the CSV is accessible via a URL). If you add it from the web, if the data changes, it will be reflected in the map. There is a limit to the amount of data you can add to a map, around 1000 features. Your data does have to be in lat/long. You can draw the points based on an column value in the data. The legend gets generated automatically. Hope this helps. Mike

An organizational subscription will allow you to publish a tiled map service, which is a set of tiled images of your data at set scales. When you author the map in ArcMap, you can turn on labels. These labels will also appear in the tiles that get generated and will be effectively burned into the images. Thanks, Mike

Yes, there are two solutions, one of which is available today, the second very soon. Instead of uploading a shapefile to the web map, publish a service to ArcGIS Server. Get a subscription to ArcGIS Online which will allow you to create a service from your data. (coming soon) Thanks, Mike

The results are currently filtered to those items where the extent overlaps the map extent. I guess there just isn't data relevant to what you're looking for. Thanks, Mike

Sorry, I'm not a coder...but I would imagine the code would have to be in our app and couldn't be controlled externally. Mike

Bryan, No, you can't add shapefiles or CSVs stored in My Content to the web map. Both, however, can be directly added to the web map via the add from file option. Thanks, Mike
