Mark, Sorry to bring up an old point but I am trying to implement your widget into my application built on the following: Flex Viewer v2.5 ArcGIS Server 9.3.1 The widget works great and as expected apart from the get unique values, which you have previously mentioned requires Server 10 onwards and I can see this in Firefox as an AMF request is sent to the server. As I am working with the un-compilied code is there anything that can be changed to work against Server 9.3.1 (did your previous version get unique values before server 10 was released?) Ray, It looks like the arrow is called the disclosureicon: http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/help.html?content=advdatagrid_06.html you should be able to set it on the tree not to be visible e.g. disclosureIcon.visible = false ... View more

Ray, The TOC expands the flex tree control so I am not sure if you can remove the arrow totally as this would go against the whole purpose of the control. You can change the icon used so maybe just put a transparent image there, see: http://www.flex-blog.com/change-open-and-close-icons-on-flex-tree/ You can also change/remove the folder (leafs) icons: http://blog.flexexamples.com/category/halo/tree/ As for having all your layers turn on when you select the top checkbox just turn them all on in your mxd before you publish it to the server. shayan.ni You should have no problem creating a web application in flex that meets your requirements, most of the functionality you are after is included in the sample viewer. Editing would require that you have a minimum of server v10. Parvaz, Sorry but I have no intention of writing the code to perform any projection of the coordinates. I have supplied the source code if you want to develop the widget further but at the moment it meets my needs and I do not have the time to spend developing it.
