Thanks for the answer Edward, Here is a blog about sharing across organizations: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/sharing-collaboration/sharing-and-collaboration-across-arcgis-on… If you know their username, you can invite users who don't have visible profiles. In order to securely share data with specific users, an ArcGIS Online organizational account is required. -Kelly

Hi Mark, What kind of data are they updating at every edit? Are they adding new values, updating existing fields? Currently editor tracking only tracks the most recent updates and the data creator. I'm wondering if adding a related record for each edit may help with your workflow. -Kelly

Hey Randy, Can you share the steps to reproduce this issue? I just confirmed that these are the steps work to remove a field with domains from a hosted feature layer view.? 1. Create a hosted feature layer 2. Create a field with domains 3. Add data to the feature layer 4. Create a hosted feature layer view 5. Set a view definition that doesn't contain the field with domains -Kelly

Hi Jason, If you add a .csv file with the additional field as a table, you could add the new column of values to the existing hosted feature layer using the join features analysis tool, by matching unique fields. This video outlines this process: ArcGIS Online Join Features Demo 3 – Join to a table based on common attribute - YouTube -Kelly

Thanks Jason, There are solution in the publishing process for hosted services in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise to set the timezone. If you are using data collected in a local time zone with ArcGIS Server, I'd suggest creating a tool that converts local time to UTC prior to publishing if you have than two fields. We are working on some projects for setting a specific timezone for some applications. That being said, time can be incredibly confusing when people from varying timezone and experiences may be viewing your data, especially with public maps. Currently, using UTC as a standard time and converting to local timezone is a consistent way to share date and time information with users without requiring the users to perform time conversions. I'd like to know more about you specific project to understand your needs further. Is the map that you are creating only accessible to some users who are all in the same timezone or is it also accessible to the public? If someone in a different timezone was viewing your data, what would be the best way for them to understand the timezone of the original data vs. the timezone that they are reading in the map? Should this be defined by the map creator or the map reader? Thanks for your feedback, -Kelly

Hey Kevin, Thanks for the feedback, This bug was marked as a duplicate of another existing bug. This is planned to be addressed in the Javacript API (and Map Viewer) in the upcoming September release of ArcGIS Online. Katie Cullen -Kelly

Hi Michael, This is a feature that some administrators want available to their organizations and others do not. For this reason it is a configurable option by the administrator to decide how to display this information to their users. -Kelly

Hi Dave, Are both layer hosted feature layers or are any layers hosted feature layer views? It isn't possible to add a new field to a hosted feature layer view, but it can be added to the source feature layer and then displayed in the feature layer view. IF this is the case, let me know, if they are both hosted feature layers, I'd suggest getting in contact with support to further investigate this issue.

Hi Katy, This definitely helps clarify but I still can't reproduce the issue. I must be missing a small step. When you open the Attribute table, are you opening it in Map Viewer? Are you adding the new field to the point layer? Do you add data to your feature layer prior to publishing? I see many fields when I add my field, so maybe this is where my workflow is different. http://arcg.is/08SH0q Have you tried to build a layer workflow for publishing empty hosted layers? We added this in the last release which removes a step from the publishing map notes workflow. The process is outlined in this blog: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/announcements/creating-an-empty-feature-layer-for-data-collectio… -Kelly

Hey Rene, Are you appending specific records to the existing feature service or are you looking to overwrite all of the data? Append doesn't support attachments, but the update/overwrite functionality does. If you will be exporting a full dataset of the data select update data> Overwrite Entire layer. -Kelly

Hi, Administrators can enable the capability for users to view their remaining credits in their profile. This is an option where the administrator needs to enable credit budgeting and select the option to allow members to see their remaining credits. Configure credits—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS If you want to view credits, I'd suggest asking your admin to enable this capability. -Kelly

Hi John, Can you please get a bug logged with support? That error message is incorrect and confusing as this doesn't seem related to the number of groups at all. Although this doesn't appear to be a documented limitation I am curious as to why a level 1 user needs to be in a group with the purpose of updating content when they have no privileges to do this? Is this a desired workflow or something where the error messaging/documentation should be improved? Can you get in touch with Esri Support and get this logged? Katie Cullen Thanks, Kelly

No worries Mark, check out these blogs about monitoring requests: https://community.esri.com/groups/cats/blog/2017/05/04/monitoring-web-service-requests-from-web-apps?sr=search&searchId=c1860b6e-b9d7-48db-9b30-07c9694974c8&searchIndex=3 https://community.esri.com/groups/technical-support/blog/2018/06/07/monitoring-web-service-requests-using-fiddler?sr=search&searchId=1ec29c9d-cd6d-4b90-aec8-3d7ba9fed42b&searchIndex=0 As these blogs were written a while ago, you'll notice that some requests may have a format of pbf instead of json in the request, you can easily swap these values to see JSON which is human readable. -Kelly
