Can you make an arrangement to get the parcel data from the county monthly? Archiving the old parcel layer and replacing it with the new one using the same path and file name of the old one so all of your map links will work. If that won't work then Wes Miller's recommendation to create a model works great. I have several models I run monthly to update various layers. Some tools that I use frequently is the Make Table Query tool, Truncate Table tool (to wipe out the old table after backing it up to a separate fgdb) Join and Append.

They could make money on personalized addresses - buy your 3m square. Then you would have to get the copyright lawyers involved.

I still think it would be problematic for emergency personnel. Pronunciation might be a problem as well. Like vocab.happy.rabble - (Cloud Gate sculpture in Chicago), what if it was misheard as vocab.happy.rebel which is somewhere in the middle of Alaska. And is vocab really a word?

The MasterStreetName table is used to populate the full street name in the centerlines feature class. The best thing to do is download the Address Data Management template and mess around with it. Watch the video on that page to see it demonstrated by Scott Oppmann The template won't let you add a street name in the centerlines feature class unless there is an entry in the MasterStreeName table. They have workflows that help you and make assigning addresses more automated. I'm not sure about the standards for NENA.

I saw a tweet today about immigration offices in Thailand having three word addresses and was directed to this site - www.what3words.com. I watched the video and checked out the map. It is an intriguing system, I was wondering what you folks thought about it. I assign addresses in my position as well as deal with addresses in error, or people that don't know their address (it happens more than you would think). Remembering three words would be easier than a number a street a city a state/province and a postal code. There's less to screw up, but my initial thoughts are spelling and transposition. Also regardless of how much easier it is to remember three words you still need to get there using the transportation network. Emergency personnel can use parts of a traditional address to know the general location of an incident whereas with three random (and they are random) words nobody is going to know where that is until they plug it into the web site. What do you think about it?

Scott Oppmann Is there a video showing how to use the Schema Migration Wizard? And how to get data from one version to another? I have downloaded it and read the instructions but it isn't very intuitive. Thanks, Jeff

So this happened to me again. I fixed it by regenerating the parcel fabrid. After making a backup, I started editing the parcel fabric, made sure there were no selections and went to the Parcel Editor menu and selected "Regenerate Parcel Fabric".

Has there been a resolution to the printing problems in the Basic Viewer web application on ArcGIS Online? For me the issue is with a feature service that has a cross hatched symbology. When I turn that layer off in the layer list - the map prints fine. If it is turned on, the button says "Printing..." but no printout link shows up, nothing happens. Thanks, Jeff

Joe, I think he meant they are separated by underscores after the import and all in one field. That's what lead me to believe they are just separated by spaces instead of commas.

You could see what the name of the marker is that the app currently uses, then search the files for that image file and replace it with yours.

Nope, that basemap is cached using a scale dependent map. When you zoom out to 100k you get the 100k topo, no getting around it. If you aren't dealing with a large geographic area you could find the DRGs and store them locally.
