Hi, According to Nate Goldman Joen Gravois tailcoat is not for public consumption and ArcGIS/tailcoat isn't a public repository. Source : GitHub

What's the version of ags? What's the sp installed? I'm using ags 10.22. It seems the only differences with your test is the ags version, the input geometry (enveloppe vs. polygon) and the spatial reference. I'm going to look into that. Thanks

Maybe you could work around it by performing a switch selection? Since it's doing the opposite of what you need. Just a thought. intersect command gives the exact same results as do not intersect? I see how to do it with ArcGIS Desktop but with ArcGIS for Server ?

Hi, I'm trying to use a custom spatial relationship in a MapServer query but have trouble finding how to do it. My problematic is simple : given an input geometry, I want to retrieve all features from my MapServer which do not intersect it. My query looks like that : [ATTACH=CONFIG]34573[/ATTACH] However this does not seem to work. It always return the feature that intersects my Input Geometry. Am I doing something wrong ? Maybe I misunderstood how this is suppose to work ? Thanxs, Mathieu

Hi everyone, I have an attributeInspector with a single featureLayer associated to it. I populate it using showFeature: myAttributeInspector.showFeature(new Graphic(null, null, {type:"A", name:"My feature"}), myAttributeInspector.featureLayers[0]); The attributeInspector displays correctly only with the field name displaying twice. What can be the problem ? How is define which field will appear in the attributeInspector ? Thanxs, Mat

Update : I have tried to add it to the InfoWindow : var attr:AttributeInspector = new AttributeInspector(); attr.featureLayers = [featLayer]; var g:Graphic = new Graphic(); var attributes:Object = {}; attributes["OBJECTID"] = ""; g.attributes = attributes; attr.showFeature(g, featLayer); map.infoWindow.visible = true; map.infoWindow.anchorX = 15; map.infoWindow.anchorY = 200; map.infoWindow.content = attr; but the infoWindow is displayed empty. The problem with this was that the layer was not loaded and therefore did not have any featureDetails. I found the solution on this thread. Thank you Robert and Walt!

After some research it appears the problem comes from the FeatureLayer instanciation. When I add it statically it works : <esri:FeatureLayer id="citizen"
outFields=" "
url="http://..."/> When I add it dynamically it does not : var featLayer:FeatureLayer = new FeatureLayer("http://...", null, null);
featLayer.outFields = ["*"]; My problem is I must add it dynamically... Any idea how to get the same results ?

Hi, So how can we do that ? When I add it manually to the InfoWindow it does not show up 😞
var attr:AttributeInspector = new AttributeInspector();
attr.featureLayers = [featLayer];
var g:Graphic = new Graphic();
var attributes:Object = {};
g.attributes = attributes;
attr.showFeature(g, featLayer);
attr.visible = true;
attr.updateEnabled = true;
map.infoWindow.visible = true;
map.infoWindow.content = attr; Am I missing something ? Thanks Mathieu

Yes and the relationship's role tells me if the layer is the origin or destination of the relationship. Thanks.

Hi, I would like to use the attributeInspector to create a new entity in a layer/table. This attributeInspector would be placed in a pop-up or outside the map. So far I was thinking to do something like this: var attrInspector:AttributeInspector = new AttributeInspector(); ... attrInspector.featureLayers = [featLayer]; var g:Graphic = new Graphic(); attrInspector.showFeature(g, featLayer); Is it a good approach ? Thanks.

Hi, I'm wondering how to delete a relationship between two objects. Considering we have one Layer parcel and one Table citizen/B] and a relationship such has one parcel is own by one citizen and a citizen can own many parcels. Here are is how the layer/table look like: Parcel ID OWNER_ID (= Citizen.ID) Citizen ID Exemple : Parcel ID OWNER_ID 1 1 2 1 3 2 Citizen ID 1 2 In my code I get the relationships from parcel: parcel.relationships[0] Now if I want to remove the relationship between a parcel and its owner without knowing the schema how can I do that ? relationship.keyField will give me ID which is the key field in table Citizen but what about key fiekd OWNER_ID in layer Parcel ? This is this field I should set to null in order to remove the relationship. e.g. Parcel ID OWNER_ID 1 1 2 1 3 2 In other words my question could be: given a layer, how can I know which of his attributes is used in a relationship with another layer or table ? Thank you.

Hi, I'm trying to incorporate a PNG image to a container. This image has a transparent background but when I add it to the container it becomes white. Any idea what can do such thing ? My code is looking something like this :
IPageLayout pageLayout = ((MapServer)mapserver).getPageLayout();
IGraphicsContainer container = (IGraphicsContainer) pageLayout;
PngPictureElement pngPicElem = (PngPictureElement) this.currentRequestServerContext.createObject(PngPictureElement.getClsid());
pngPicElem.importPictureFromFile(imgResult.getURL());
container.addElement(pngPicElem, 0);
I have tried to manually set the background of my element but with no success :
IColor color = (IColor) (this.currentRequestServerContext.createObject(RgbColor.getClsid()));
color.setTransparency((byte) 0);
color.setRGB(0xFF0000);
SymbolBackground symbBg = (SymbolBackground) this.currentRequestServerContext.createObject(SymbolBackground.getClsid());
symbBg.setColor(color);
pngPicElem.setBackground(symbBg);
Thank you. N.B. I'm using Java ArcObjects SDK on ArcGIS Server 10
