There is an option called Validate Entire Model in ModelBuilder which can be accessed both from File menu and from the button on the toolbar in ModelBuilder window. I was looking, however, for a way to run the model validation directly after running the model (to skip clicking the button every time you are done).
There are no ideas on ArcGIS Ideas silimar to this, so I thought to check on Forums if there is anyone who has been able to implement this behaviour. I've searched for any information on accessing this feature from ArcObjects and it seems as you don't have that much access to ModelBuilder functionality from ArcObjects.
