I am using Pro 3.1 with the latest patch. I created a Locator that has the following field mapping:
I chose the parameter "Suggest subaddress when base address is typed":
In Map - Locate - Search, I type a base address that I know has 4 subaddresses but no subaddresses appear in the drop down list as is stated here: Tips for improving geocoding quality—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation
You can see from the screenshot above that I typed the base address (which I know has subaddress in the attribute table associated with the Locator) but no subaddresses appear in the suggestions (drop down).
Funny, it works perfectly as expected in ArcGIS Desktop 10.6.1 with a Locator published in 10.6.1 (not Pro); the Locator I created in 10.6.1 has exact same fields/parameters as the Locator I created in Pro 3.1:
Can someone assist me in getting this function to work in Pro?
thank you.
@TimHayes3 If you rebuild the locator without the FeatureID being mapped to ADDR_KEY field, enable the base address and and subaddress summary properties, then enter the base address in the Locate pane, do you get the expected suggestions?
