Can anyone help with importing gpx files and converting them from GCS_WGS_1984 to British National Grid so that I can overlay them on the OS mapping I have? I'm very new to ArcGIS (2 weeks) and have never used python.
Not sure if now ArcGIS will do the conversion, but there are plenty of free online utilities that can convert to shapefile....and they're easy to use. Been a while, but I think I used tools at GPS Visualizer (or GPS Babel), all free and informative: http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/
Thanks for the quick response Wayne. I didn't have much luck with the ArcGIS tools (probably operator error) but I did find a batch conversion tool that worked well enough for me. http://gridreferencefinder.com/batchConvert/batchConvert.htm
