I’ve used “Calculate Geometry” and “Add XY coordinate” to calculate the XY coordinates, but when adding a new point, both the X and Y fields are empty for the new point.
I am looking for a way to calculate the XY coordinates automatically when adding a new point.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Dan,
Our Data is updating everyday! we couldn't leave it without coordinates.

You could set a script to populate XY fields every day or night.
I looking for such a way like the area or the length field.
Thank you,

Hi majdoleen,
You can host your data in SQL server (mdf) then you can write SQL trigger to calculate X,Y values, this trigger will run automatically when you update your data.
Majdoleen,
The same can be done with Oracle as well if you prefer to use it.

Hey Majdoleen Awadallah. Did you get that accomplished? I am looking to achieve the same result.
