Performance Issue with https://www.arcgis.com/sharing/rest/portals/self – Severe Delay using ArcGIS JS API v4.32

As of June 26, 2025, our Angular application began experiencing significant delays when calling the following ArcGIS Online endpoint:  

https://www.arcgis.com/sharing/rest/portals/self?f=json&culture=en

We are using ArcGIS JavaScript API v4.32 via the @ArcGIS/core package in an Angular v14 application.

This endpoint previously responded in under a second, but starting today, response times have jumped to 5–10+ seconds, impacting app performance and user experience.

There was ArcGIS Online maintenance today until about 4 hours ago.

Are you still seeing the performance issues now?

ArcGIS.com Web Site performance issues

We are seeing some performance issues on various arcgis.com sites. We are investigating the issue.

I would lodge a ticket with support so you can be attached to the issue and notified when it is resolved. Otherwise keep an eye on the above website and when it's fixed, let them know if you are still seeing performance issues.
