user can edit out of AOI

I configured my AOI to prevent users from selecting features outside the job AOI .it works ok with edit session when job is activated but the user can add features outside AOI if he open mxd doc and start edit session without actviate the job .
My quation is how i prvent user from editing without job actviation

Hi,

The AOI edit extension that enforces the rules is a Workflow Manager component that is only triggered if you are in a workflow manager job's map.
However, if you are familiar with customizing ArcMap you could create your own "Iextension" that does the same thing without the dependency of a workflow manager job.
Basically, you will have to write your custom code.
