Good afternoon all,
A common workflow I have seen is a lot of clients that do not want the cathodic protection assets or tier in their utility network, in addition to the modeling of manholes similar to the geometric network modeling. In both of these cases, it requires removing subtypes, connectivity rules, tiers, and other elements of the UN, and usually then still ends up in an error when attempting to convert the AP to a UN.
My question is- should there be an easier way to do this aside from building a custom UN on your own? Are the untools aware of what has been removed from an asset package prior to deployment?
Cheers!

The asset package supports a configuration table(https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-solutions/latest/tool-reference/utility-network-package/create-asse...) which should be used to remove items. Have you tried this out?
