AssignTerminalConnections on an already-released Utility Network (branch versioned)
Hi everyone, I need to assign terminal connections using the AssignTerminalConnections tool. The issue is that the Utility Network is already deployed in an enterprise environment, so branch versioning is enabled, and the tool fails with: TypeError: cannot update branch versioned table. The workflow I had in mind is: *…

Modeling hot standby circuit breakers
What is the best way to represent an open hot standby circuit breaker in an electric utility network that needs to be geometrically connected to two separate subnetwork names? If this were any other device, this circuit breaker would have SUBNAME1::SUBNAME2, but this is not possible because the CB is the subnetwork…

ESRI Recommendation for Incremental Loading of ~8 Billion Records into an Existing Utility Network
We need to migrate approximately 8 billion records into a PostgreSQL Enterprise Geodatabase containing an ArcGIS Utility Network. Due to data volume limitations, the data will be loaded incrementally in multiple batches into the same Utility Network. What is the ESRI-recommended approach for: * Incremental batch loading *…

Reconcile error
I recently published a Gas UN data and an LRS data as a service. The aim is that users are able to create their versions based on the published data set. Users are able to create versions successfully, but whenever we try to reconcile Users branched version edits, we hit a snag. Error message code - 500 is what we get…

Export Subnetwork Question
Hi - A few years ago our company started providing proposed equipment from GIS to our outage system (Oracle NMS). We applied a few conventions to data in our ArcFM Feeder Manager managed distribution system and it, by and large, works OK. Energization is now performed in NMS by the system operator — who is in direct…

Identifying orphaned features in Utility Network
As far as my understanding of the Utility Network goes, the topology rules dictate the legal combinations of devices and lines, e.g. being silly that a manhole can join to a sewer but not a watermain, which at validation time makes alot of sense. However there doesn't seem to be anything stopping an editor adding an…

Utility network vocabulary specifically for water and wastewater (sewer) utility assets
Hi, Does anyone know of a similar vocabulary/terminology document similar to this (Utility network vocabulary | ArcGIS Pro documentation) but with specific references to/examples of water and wastewater (sewer) utility assets. This would be very helpful for water and wastewater utilities to understand how our current data…

Question on asset package and utility network in enterprise geodatabse

I would like to know if it is technically possible or supported to…

Hi Team, I am trying to programmatically export all subnetworks. This used to work before but now it seems to be failing and I cannot quite put my finger on the problem. I have tried using FME. Utility Network Validation Based on Edits Rather Than Extent
In ArcGIS Utility Network, the Validate operation is currently executed either for the current map extent or for the entire dirty area extent.
