Survey not downloading to mobile app after update

I have a survey that was working great, allowing users to download without any problem. After the latest update, v3.5.176, the mobile app gets stuck on downloading when using the link ("Open the survey in the Survey123 field app directly", see below) or the QR code. It "sticks" when the app has only been updated, as well as when the app was deleted and reinstalled. I have done nothing to the survey. I checked permissions/sharing on the feature layer in AGO with no luck.

Hi Phil,

This is the screenshot:

I went to the download page : Android ARMv7 (32bit)  , but the download is an ... .exe ??? for Android ? 

Survey123_Android_ARMv7_3_5_176.exe

I renamed this to .apk , and tried to install , but got the error:

"Parse error"

there was a problem wile parsing the package" 

I did the same for the 64 package , with the same result.

Was the renaming from .exe to apk not the correct approah ?

I have a team of people depending on this, it would be handy just to have a link to an older apk, that we can continue to work, because this is costing the company money.

Hi Stefaan,

It looks like the CPU and OS support both 64bit and 32bit based on the screenshot above.

With the downloads, you need to run the .exe on Windows, so you can accept the terms and conditions, and the installer will extract the .apk file out to a folder. You can then copy that apk onto the device and install it. Please try the 32bit and 64bit on that device and let me know if either of them work. It should open without crashing and work as normal.

Hi Stephan,

I note that the device has an x86 CPU.  Unfortunately, we are no longer able to provide an x86 CPU Android package via the Google Play Store.

My work around :

1) do a system factory reset (to whipe all data and settings)

2) download and install Survey123 V3.5.164 armeabi-v7a Android 4.4+

https://apkpure.com/nl/survey123-for-arcgis/com.esri.survey123/variant/3.5.164-APK 

3) disable auto update

the arm64-v8a crashes after installation on my Panasonic FZ-B2

this is also the case for the 3.5.177

and the 3.5.176 v7 and v8  doesn't download from the portal

hope the release of 3.6 will still be supported for the the Panasonic devices !
