We will host a couple of virtual sessions in November to share with you our progress with the upcoming release of ArcGIS QuickCapture. During these sessions, we will grant you access to Beta builds of the software. Our focus will be location tracking within ArcGIS QuickCapture.
Location tracking provides organizations with operational awareness of their personnel and assets in real-time, monitoring work as it progresses, and enabling them to respond to changing conditions if needed.
By adding support for location tracking in ArcGIS QuickCapture you will be able to:
Location tracking is an ArcGIS capability that you can choose to enable in your ArcGIS Online organization or ArcGIS Enterprise deployment. For more details, check the Location tracking in ArcGIS technical paper.
We plan to release support for location tracking in ArcGIS QuickCapture before the end of 2021. We will expand QuickCapture designer, so you can easily activate location tracking in your QuickCapture projects.
As the author of a QuickCapture project, you will control if location tracking is required or not. If you make it required, location tracking will be turned on in the device when your project is open. If you make it optional, the end user will be able to choose when location tracking is active in the device.
If you want to learn more and try ArcGIS QuickCapture location tracking before if ships, register for one of our Early Adopter sessions in November.
We will send details a week before the event to all registered attendees.
