Multiple "Details" sections on one report page?

Hi,

I'm trying to build a report in ArcGIS Pro 3.4.0 to display the photo attachments from a point feature service. Each point has one photo. I want to display 12 photos per page because I have about 600 photos to include. Each photo will have a brief caption pulled from feature attributes. So, in other words, I want to create a photo grid with photos for 12 points displayed on each page. Here's a visual that was created manually:

My initial attempt resulted in the same point/photo being duplicated 12 times on each page, with each page displaying a new point (12 times). From that, I have deduced that each "Details" section can only display attributes and attachments for a single feature per page. Assuming that's right, what I now want to do is duplicate the Details section 12 times on each page, with each Details section showing details for a new point, but I can't figure out how to do that. I don't see a way to duplicate, copy/paste, or insert a new Details section.

Am I on the wrong track? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

@AlyciaRajendran_esri Do you have any suggestions? Is it possible to generate a report with a grid of photo attachments representing multiple features on each page? I can only figure out how to do it with one feature per page or possibly one feature per row. Rows and columns would work (with one feature/attachment per cell) but not rows alone.

I'm attaching an example with four photos, each attached to a different point. We usually create these manually but that's not going to work with 600 points.

Posting this answer here, as well as your other topic, in case a later user's search brings them here, instead:

We have used a substantially similar setup in the past for our MS4 reporting, where we'd display 4 Assets per page.  The sub-layouts have varied, but we've done single-photo, multi-photo, map, no map, and descriptions.

The trick is to create the sub-layout in Pro, and then merge it 4-up (or 12-up, in your case) using an external program, like Acrobat Pro, or InDesign.

To elaborate, using a setup of 100 trees displayed 4-up on ANSI Letter (8.5×11") size, for simple math:

  1. Create a new Layout in Pro for the individual record.  Size should be 4.25×5.5", or a quarter of the finished 4-up size.
  2. Export this file to PDF; you should have a 100-page PDF of small pages.
  3. Using the program of your choice, have each page flow to one corner of an ANSI Letter page.  One simple way in Acrobat is to print to the PDF printer using the "Poster" setting, and choosing a 2×2 grid.  Result will be a different PDF file that's 4-up.
  4. Save your resulting 25-page PDF file that has your entries 4up and email/print, as desired.

The math is a little more complex for 12-up, depending on your page size, but it should still be doable.  Just divide your long edge by 6 and your short edge by 2.

Thank you for the response! I think I understand what you're proposing, but I'm confused on one point. You are doing this as a layout, not a report? Or are you using Reports? I'm guessing you're using reports, in which case I could probably make one with two rows (one photo + caption in each row) and a width of 1/6 my landscape page width, and then use Acrobat Pro or InDesign, import six of these to each page, lined up left to right across the page. I've never done that last part, but our Graphics crew could probably handle that part. Thank you for the suggestion!

In our case, we were using a Map Series via Layout.

I've never actually worked much with Reports, personally, but a glance at your second screenshot suggests the workflow would likely be similar.

At least for Layouts, it's actually usually easier to do a single Asset per dummy-page, and then combine into the 12-up setup outside Pro, in my experience.
