Can I set default units for the measure tool in ArcGIS Pro?

I almost always want to measure in feet and acres, but the tool defaults to metric units. This means I have to change the units every time I open the tool.

this is still an issue at 3.3.1.  Defaults to Imperial (instead of US Feet), and does not save between map tabs or saved sessions in the same project.

I'll add that this would be really helpful. We have a lot of staff that need quick measurements and it seems like one should be able to choose defaults for these. Also, it would be nice to be able to set the default for the mode.

This seems like an easy fix and win for esri and the sort of thing that would make grumbly customers happier.  It's way past time that users should be afforded at least the application of Unit defaults to the various measure tools.  If it's an issue of the coordinate system, put a toggle in settings for "Prefer Coordinate system Linear Unit for Tools".  Either way, it's a problem that software can solve.  Every time I close and then reopen the Measure Features tool it reverts to Metric.  I'm using 3.3.2 at them moment.
