Can I create Polygons from Polylines without Feature Class to Polygon tool?

Hi everyone,

I am using ArcGIS Pro with a Basic license.  I apparently need the standard license to get the feature class to polygon tool.  I can't buy that right now, and another company sent me CAD linework that needs to be polygons.  Do I need to go through and create a polygon for each line manually since I don't have the license or is there any workaround to make all of these lines into polygons?

Cheers,

Justin

Not sure if this helps:  https://support.esri.com/en/technical-article/000007258

If you have the drawings themselves, you could georeference them and use it as the basemap with which to create your ploygons.

That should just about do it....

I have been fortunate to have ELA licenses my career that include Advanced, but I am a big fan of XTools Pro, an add-on for ArcMap and Pro. There are free and trial versions and they both include a lot of Standard and Advanced functionality.
