Split Line ArcGIS Online

Is there a tool that will allow a user to split a line via ArcGIS Online app?  Anything out of the box or do I need to create my own JavaScript App?

Hi Jay,

How are you wanting to 'split' this line? Are there certain criteria that you will need? Please give some more details.

Nothing special....Either

• A user specified point that is snapped to the line.  Once placed it splits the line in two.  Error alert if it does not land on a line
• A user specified line intersecting the line to split.  Click once to start the splitting line, drag across a line to be split, click second time to stop.  Error alert if it does not cross a line to be split.

Interesting. I am not sure as I am not a strong developer.

Did you ever figure out how to do this? Is there a Split Line tool available in ArcGiS Online?

The Edit widget in Web App Builder has an option to display a Cut tool which will split a line.
