ArcGIS Online 7.4: How to publish an enterprise geodatabase on ArcGIS Online with an option not to copy the data,

I couldn’t figure out if there is a way to publish enterprise geodatabase on ArcGIS Online with an option not to copy the data. This way, as the published data is edited on the web or mobile, the updates are reflected in the real time to the enterprise geodatabase.

Hi Jamal,

As far as I know this is not possible when publishing to ArcGIS Online.  Publishing to ArcGIS Online is always does a Copy Data.  To do what you're saying you would need to publish to your own ArcGIS Server and then "Register" the service in your ArcGIS Online.  That would keep the link to your live Enterprise Geodatabase in ArcGIS Online.

Thank you Nick.

I was thinking that this could be accomplished without the need to have the ArcGIS Server deployed.
