Unless you do a forensic deep dive (feels like it) through the Organisation Credits dashboard, it isn't easy to see what an item consumes credit-wise.
Please add credit usage under the Details section of a dataset's Overview.
This should be straightforward for any static dataset like a hosted feature layer, tile package (i.e. not a geoprocessing or tiling process).
It will save a lot of time to just go to a dataset and check its usage rather than diving through the current dark patterns to find what should be simple & foundational info.
In the past there was talk of 'it cannot be done because credit use is calculated hourly....... etc' but for typical static layers (as in data as listed in the credits' marketing brochure) a data size is shown down the 3rd decimal of a MB under Details.
This size could should be converted to a credit cost on the fly (and add in a disclaimer of Credit Cost is only indicative blah blah).
The cost to users is based on $ and Credits, not MB/KB/GB, so the info about a layer should reflect this.
