We encountered an issue in ArcGIS Monitor Administrator (desktop app) where Monitor Service disappeared and stop collecting/monitoring. The Monitor Windows Service is still there and we have already restarted it.
Another thing is ArcGIS Monitor Server Application (in web browser) still displays all the collections and counters.
Does anyone have any idea why this happened and how we can restore the Monitor Service in ArcGIS Monitor Administrator app?
I just had something similar happen to my set up. I'm afraid I may have lost a couple of months worth of data as a result.
I know this was a while ago, but do you recall what you did to resolve this issue?

I wasn't able to resolve this issue. In the end I just started from scratch.
