Zone Lookup Issues

I'm having issues with Zone lookup. When I enter an address in my school finder app, it shows me the elementary school associated with that address, and the middle and high school boundaries as well. The problem I'm having is, when I click on the zoom on the middle and high school boundaries, the map zooms out, but I still only see the elementary school point. I don't see the other schools. I also want users to be able to see ALL the schools and boundaries in the map on search, with the relevant ones highlighted. Right now everything outside the search is hidden. I've toggled off "Hide layers when app loads" and it doesn't seem to have an effect. Is this a bug?

Thanks for the link. It looks like its an issue in the app due to the way its handling related records for each attendance zone. I'll work on a fix for this for the next release. In the meantime you can work around the issue by duplicating the schools layer in your web map. Here's an example of how this looks in the app:

Let me know if this isn't the behavior you were looking for.

Hey, I finally got to this. I duplicated the layer, but I still have the same issue.

Is it working as expected in the test app I linked above? If so can you compare the settings in your app to the ones in mine.

Yes, it's working in your example. The only difference I'm seeing is in the preset layer effects.

In your app it looks like showing popups for layers not in the results is turned off. If you turn this on I think you'll get what you need after the Online release in a few weeks.

You can find the setting in Zone Lookup > "Enable pop-up for layers not included in results"

Hi Kelly,

Hoping you can take a look at this again, now that the October AGOL update is live.  I am having a problem where we are not getting any results in the published app, but we are getting results in the configuration side.  I've even tried removing our geocoders and using just the ESRI world geocoder and I still get results in the config but not in the published app.   So basically the app is broken on our public page.

Is this still your published app?

I just ran a few tests and its getting results for me.

No, that’s the original app by Levi who started this thread. Mine is the one that is looking up a city council district. The link is also in this post.

The threading in this post is weird. Can you reshare the link to your app so I can test it out. I'm trying to find it here but for some reason I can't.
