Minimal Gallery App

I have downloaded and started to configure the minimal gallery app for our business purposes (this will be hosted on our own web server):

I have a number of queries on how I can change some of the elements:

1. How can I change the title and add a favicon?

2. How can I disable the open in gallery options on the photo and the text link as it doesn't work for apps?

3. How can I add the item description like this example?
