ArcGIS plugin not working(blank visual)

We have powerbi in a work environment behind a proxy. Recently work changed some proxy rules and new installs of powerbi do not show the ArcGIS visual button.  I played around with different versions and found the newest(December 2021) version now will ask for our proxy credentials every time and once that is done the button appears.

However, when trying to use the visual it is just a blank visual. I have tried various fixes found on the internet such as:

Creating a second tab
Clearing caches
Deleting folders

Nothing has worked. Any ideas?

This could be related to the Infrastructure Preview that was implemented in Power BI. We have pushed an update for this on Friday, and everything should work now as expected. If it does not work for you still, try to disable this preview feature from the options in Power BI desktop.
