Hi all,

I'm trying to connect ArcGIS Enterprise 11.2 with Power BI, but I keep getting the error: "The specified URL is not valid."

Here are my some details:

  • ArcGIS Enterprise is accessible over the internet (using Web Adaptor).
  • I have added https://app.powerbi.com/ to Allowed Origins in Portal Security settings.
  • The Portal URL is https://<MYORG>.com/portal.
  • Power BI is supposed to authenticate via Built-in user store (Basic login).

Has anyone faced a similar issue? Are there any additional configurations needed ?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks a lot @NaZhang_Esri now it's working, I've another issue but I will post it as a new post if you've experienced it,
After login to my enterprise using BI, map cannot be displayed and error message appeared:

The basemap is unavailable or has been deleted from the server. Reset the map.

when I try to explore the content no issues but when I try to view layer or map I got the above error

Hi @AbdelrahmanGhazaly,

I'm glad it worked! For the basemap error, could you please try to sign in to your Enterprise portal first then view it? I guess the credentials are cleared when you view the report. Please let me know if  this doesn't work. Thank you!
