Experience Builder doesn't obey ArcGIS Enterprise Sort Order

I'm currently running ArcGIS Enterprise 11.2 and with the built-in XB, using the Basemap widget, I can pull the basemaps through from Portal, however they won't sort as per the sorting order set in Portal.

Are there any plans to enable this, or to have sort order set within the Widget itself?

@Cory__Williams You can choose the Custom mode and drag & reorder the needed basemaps.

Also, do you have some screenshots showing the differences between the widget vs. order set in the portal?

This issue existed in WAB too. The basemap widget always sorted the basemaps by name in ascending order. I hope this is something EB Basemap widget does not inherit. 🙂

Inside an org, items are sorted with a default criteria - date created descending:

Notice that they are added to the parameter so nothing is stored.

Is the date descending order the one that you'd like to see for the basemap order inside your groups?
