I'm using Experience Builder in Enterprise 11.3. My users want the app to drop a pin on the map when they search for a lat/long. This is the default function of the search for the Map Viewer for the web map used in the Experience Builder. Experience Builder zooms to the location, but does not drop a pin, screenshots attached.

Is there any way to make the search in Experience Builder drop the pin?

Have you configured the locator source in the search widget? If configured, the Records created - Show on map action allows you to set custom symbols for locator results.

Hi @MaryEllenRosebrough-Gay ,

In Experience Builder, the search widget does not set this search behavior automatically. You can add the following message actions to the search widget: Records created - Map - Show on map.

I'm not seeing Message Actions as an option on the search widget that you drag over from the + Insert Widget, but I enabled the search on the web map itself and that does add a symbol for the location. I can work with this, but if there is a way to do this in the search widget that I configured with all the layer searches, that would be wonderful. I can't find the spot. I'm attaching screenshots of where I'm looking and my current work around of using the second map-based search option.

Yes, I have both layer sources and the Esri locator. I see it now, thank you!
