Displaying popup only in Feature Info widget.

I am using Feature Info widget in my map, so there is no need for popup window on the map. However, if I disable popup in the web map, the content in Feature Info reverts back to default as the content is inherited from the popup I believe. Is there a way to retain my custom popup content to be displayed in Feature Info widget, but at the same time have the popup window on the map disabled?

@ZachBodenner Here is more information for you, and anybody else who sees this, about the problem I've encountered.

The issue involves adding an entire map service in Map Viewer, which then carries over to ExB.  And, grouped layers within the map service can cause problems.  I have a map service with 20 endpoints, including four separate layer groups.  If I reference one of these layers in Feature Info the widget does not open when you click a feature in that layer.  The irony is it always worked fine in Map Viewer Classic and Web AppBuilder using Robert_Scheitlin's Popup Panel widget. 

If you add the individual REST endpoints in Map Viewer, and whether or not you group them, the Feature Info click loads the popup correctly in ExB.

I worked through this recently with ESRI Support and a BUG has been logged.  What I completely forgot was I brought up this same issue with them in September, 2024, and a BUG was logged then too.  See below.

Unfortunately it does not work for imagery layers such as the World Elevation GMTED or Sentinel-2 views. You have to rely on the map's popup window for these.
