Hi, since the batch attribute editor widget is not available in Experience Builder yet, does anyone know if its possible/how to bring WAB's batch editor into ExB as a custom widget, or another workaround?
Thank you!
@DianaL The batch attribute editing will be part of the Edit widget. Teams are working together on this capability. No timeline yet.
@Jianxia Do you have any update or timeline for this?
Looking for an update as well. Because of the Java Script limitations for WAB, I'm having to move a critical app to Experience Builder for our organization, but am now limited by the current edit widget in Experience Builder.
Bump. Getting interest by our client as well. @Jianxia
Is there any updates on adding in this feature yet? Or is there any workarounds with using custom widgets?
The 'batch edit' widget is crucial to many of our workflows and an essential part of many Web App Builder (WAB) applications currently in use. We are having to transition many of these WAB apps to Experience Builder as the WAB apps start to glitch (possibly because the underlying Classic maps glitch) but there is a glaring gap in the batch edit function. Please let us know an expected time frame to provide this OR if there are any workarounds.
100% Need a timeline asap
Looks like last quarter of 2024 unfortunately.
ArcGIS Experience Builder 2024 Roadmap (esri.com)
@Jianxia When developing the Batch Editor for Experience Builder, please have the team test it with postgresql versioned data. The App Builder batch editor inconsistently works with versioned postgresql, usually producing errors with the layers : The requested operation is invalid on a closed state.
Once the errors take place, it eventually causes issues with rendering the service . We have a support case for this: Esri Case #03493927 and it would be good to review it, if that's possible.
Thank you so much for all of the good work you are doing.
