In order to transition from Web App Builder to Experience Builder, I need the ability to create a new layer from the query results widget (like how you can currently do using the Query widget in Web App Builder). Currently I can enable the option to add each query result to the map as a new/separate layer that appears in the layers panel. This is important/major functionality that is missing in Experience Builder.

Is this available in the latest version of Experience Builder? If not, is it slated for development?

Yes, in the latest version of ArcGIS Online, Query results can be output as a separate layer in the Map Widget that will appear in the Map Layers Widget.

What about for ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal for ArcGIS? That's where I need this functionality. We do not use ArcGIS Online. Thank you!

All changes in ArcGIS Online are brought into ArcGIS Enterprise in the next release. You can expect to see this feature in Enterprise 11.5.

I was testing this out in AGOL, but it looks like you can only output 1 query result at a time in the Map Widget. Every time a new query is made, it overwrites the query result layer in the map. This is different than how it currently works in Web App Builder - it allows you to create a new layer for every query, which is what we need. In WAB, you can check a box that says "Create a new layer every time the query is executed".

Is this slated for development? This is the one thing we need in order to migrate away from WAB.
