Upcoming new features in ArcGIS Experience Builder in ArcGIS Online November 2024 release.

Esri has a brand-new massive open online course (MOOC) opening on September 25: Make an Impact with Modern Geo Apps. Attendees will receive complimentary access to ArcGIS Dashboards, ArcGIS StoryMaps, ArcGIS Instant Apps, ArcGIS Experience Builder, and ArcGIS Online. 

Version 1.15 of Experience Builder Developer Edition is Now Available. It adds four new widgets and supports related table and imagery data. It also provides a better user experience when you download the app, allows you to use Map components from ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript, and adds more options for automated deployments.

Four new widgets are added. Other highlights include viewing related records, support for raster data, and tracking app usage with Google Analytics.

We are regularly adding new functionalities in Near Me widget in Experience Builder to achieve the same level of functionality as the Near Me, Info Summary, Screening, and Situation Awareness widgets in Web AppBuilder, With ArcGIS Online February update and Enterprise 11.3 release, we added support to generate dynamic reports from Near Me results from Print widget in Experience Builder.

Known Limitation:

• Right now it only works with Enterprise 11.3 print service and it is not supported in ArcGIS Online print service.  If you have enterprise environment you can publish your custom print service with reporting capability, share the service with everyone and use it in the online environment.

Requirements

• This feature requires a custom print service published or a portal item with reporting templates in Enterprise 11.3,
• Report schema needs to be same as the output data schema from Near Me.

Here are some helpful resources that will help you create interactive and immersive web apps using ArcGIS Experience Builder.

When creating and updating features using Forms in the Editor widget, calculated expressions can be triggered to populate field values automatically.

The challenge: values for fields with calculated expressions cannot be edited or recalculated on demand, while editable fields do not support calculated expressions.

A workaround is proposed in this article.

Version 1.14 of Experience Builder Developer Edition is Now Available. It adds the Select widget, ability to filter multiple layers, and URL parameters for Map and Search widgets. It also provides guidance on sharing code between widgets and automating your app deployments.
