Smart Editor no longer able to edit related table

I'm unable to edit related tables, via the Smart Editor, in a webapp. I used to be able to, then suddenly (not sure when) it stopped working.
The related tables are editable:
But when launching the smart editor, and drilling down to the tables, the smart editor screen doesn't display any attributes
