New smart map search workflow

The redesigned smart map search workflow incorporates enhancements for defining the analysis extent, viewing results, and saving layers for future use in infographics and other ArcGIS tools. Additionally, it introduces a comprehensive list of industry-specific variables to expedite your analysis.

Enhanced POI search

The improved points of interest search now delivers a wider range of targeted results. By utilizing advanced semantic search, it goes beyond basic keyword matching to understand and interpret natural language, providing closely related results that align with your search intent. Simply enter your search terms to discover relevant points of interest. The results are then retrieved and ranked based on their related meanings, ensuring more precise and targeted outcomes.

New infographics and improvements

  • New USA standard infographic templates for emergency communications, economic development, nonprofit organizations, and community change.
  • New standard classic report covering retail demand.
  • New tabular-style infographics for the United States and several infographics for France and Canada have been added to the infographic gallery.
  • Other improvements include additional batch export options for infographics, enhancements to viewing infographics in stack mode display, the ability to copy and save infographic panels for easy reuse when creating new infographics, as well as new ToolTip options to show the data source, vintage, ID, and definitions.

Redesigned in-app guided tours

Some of the guided tours have been streamlined to offer a fresher look and enhanced accessibility, ultimately enhancing the learning experience for users. The remainder of the guided tours are slated for updates in upcoming releases.

Improved accessibility with Calcite

Delivering accessible software is a top priority. The use of Calcite design components leverages W3C Accessibility Standards to ensure that ArcGIS applications and user experience are usable by a wide range of audiences. Efforts are made to enhance the accessibility of Business Analyst with each release to better support screen readers, improved keyboard interaction, visual display, high-contrast support, and other improved accessible functionality.
